Background: Clinical guidelines recommend orthogeriatric care to improve older hip fracture patients' outcomes, but few studies have been conducted in China. This study evaluated the effects of an orthogeriatric co-management care model in six Chinese hospitals.

Methods: This non-randomised controlled study was designed as an exploratory trial and was conducted in 3 urban and 3 suburban hospitals.

Methods: Whole-exome sequencing was performed on the pathological tissue and peripheral blood of 12 patients with macrodactyly who were operated in our hospital between June 2018 and May 2020. In order to conduct comprehensive bioinformatics analysis and screen the pathogenic genes of macrodactyly, the patients were divided into four groups: macrodactyly of finger group, macrodactyly of foot group, macrodactyly and syndactyly of finger group, and macrodactyly and syndactyly of foot group.

The aims of this study were to determine the relationships between changes inlatency and amplitude of the P300 event-related potential component and cognitive impairmentsin patients after a transient ischemic attack (TIA) or a minor stroke and to assess thesuitability of the P300 for screening for cognitive impairments. Sixty-five TIA or minor stroke patients diagnosed at the NeurologyDepartment of Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University from June 2015 toDecember 2016 and 30 healthy people evaluated in the same period were included. X-ray and computed tomography (CT) were used to investigate the 3D scapular and suprascapular nerve images.

Association between TPMT*3C and decreased thiopurine S-methyltransferase activity in patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders in China.

Aim Of The Study: Thiopurines are effective drugs in treating neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders and other diseases. Thiopurines' toxicity is mainly imputed to thiopurine S-methyltransferase activity. In Chinese population, the most common and important variation of thiopurine S-methyltransferase is TPMT*3C (rs1142345).

Volume-Targeted Versus Pressure-Limited Noninvasive Ventilation in Subjects With Acute Hypercapnic Respiratory Failure: A Multicenter Randomized Controlled Trial.

Background: Volume-targeted noninvasive ventilation (VT-NIV), a hybrid mode that delivers a preset target tidal volume (V) through the automated adjustment of pressure support, could guarantee a relatively constant target V over pressure-limited noninvasive ventilation (PL-NIV) with fixed-level pressure support. Whether VT-NIV is more effective in improving ventilatory status in subjects with acute hypercapnic respiratory failure (AHRF) remains unclear. Our aim was to verify whether, in comparison with PL-NIV, VT-NIV would be more effective in correcting hypercapnia, hence reducing the need for intubation and improving survival in subjects with AHRF.

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of human adipose derived stem cells (ADSCs) on the viability and apoptosis of human bladder cancer cells. EJ and T24 cells were cocultured with ADSCs or cultured with conditioned medium of ADSCs (ADSC-CM), respectively. The cell counting and colony formation assay showed ADSCs inhibited the proliferation of EJ and T24 cells.
