Young Children Allergic Rhinitis Questionnaire is a novel tool for allergy screening in children.

Background: There are a limited number of validated questionnaires available for use in the clinical screening for allergic rhinitis (AR) in children ≤3 years old. We developed a novel self-reported questionnaire and assessed its accuracy and reliability.

Methods: After establishing a pool of items, which were screened by experts, the Young Children Allergic Rhinitis Questionnaire (YCAR-Q) was administered to a birth cohort in the Shunyi District (Beijing, China).

Descriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the distributions, pathogen constituents, and changes of HFMD cases in Beijing people ≥6 years old.

Methods: Whole-exome sequencing was performed on the pathological tissue and peripheral blood of 12 patients with macrodactyly who were operated in our hospital between June 2018 and May 2020. In order to conduct comprehensive bioinformatics analysis and screen the pathogenic genes of macrodactyly, the patients were divided into four groups: macrodactyly of finger group, macrodactyly of foot group, macrodactyly and syndactyly of finger group, and macrodactyly and syndactyly of foot group.

Hyperuricemia, an independent risk factor for ensuing chronic kidney disease (CKD), contributed to tubulointerstitial fibrosis and insufficiency of renal fatty acid oxidation. Many studies have shown that renal fatty acid oxidation dysfunction is related to the TGF-1/Smad3 signaling pathway. We experimented the effects of Zishen Qingre Tongluo Formula (ZQTF) on the adenine/yeast-induced HN rats and uric acid-induced renal mouse tubular epithelial cells (mTECs), determined whether this effect was related to the TGF-1/Smad3 signaling pathway, and further investigated the relationship between this effect and renal fatty acid oxidation.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the clinical effect of the encircling fixation of a transplanted palmaris longus tendon in the treatment of Doyle types II and III mallet finger.

Methods: There were 115 cases of mallet finger deformity with Zone 1 extensor tendon rupture and defect. After debridement by first intention, the tendon bundles of the palmaris longus tendon were used to pass through the subcutaneous tunnel on the volar side of the base of distal phalanx, forming an encircling binding, crossing on the dorsal side.
