Purpose: Infertility is affecting more and more couples of appropriate age. Hysteroscopy (HSC) has certain effects on the uncompleted pregnancy and live birth caused by uterine microenvironment. Based on the evidence, this paper systematically evaluates the effectiveness and safety of HSC intervention on the fertility outcome of female infertility.

[Effect of He's method of acupuncture on serological levels in patients with acute ischaemic stroke].

Objectives: To investigate the repair effects of He's method of acupuncture (involved bloodletting technique with strong action of unblocking) on the neurovascular unit of the patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) in terms of serological indicators so as to provide new ideas for the treatment of AIS.

Methods: Seventy subjects with AIS were randomly divided into an observation group (35 cases, 1 case dropped out) and a control group (35 cases , 4 cases dropped out). Patients in the control group were treated with conventional regimen.

The influence of proliferative tissue on Hounsfield unit and its correlation with BMD in middle-aged and elderly patients with lumbar degenerative diseases.

Purpose: The difference of Hounsfield Unit (HU) value in different regions of L3 vertebra in middle-aged and elderly patients with lumbar degeneration diseases (LDD) was analyzed. To investigate the influence of proliferative tissue on HU value of cancellous bone and its correlation with bone mineral density (BMD).

Methods: The medical records of middle-aged and elderly patients with LDD in our hospital from December 2020 to December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.

Traditional Chinese medicine injections with invigorating blood circulation (TCMI-IBCs), which have been used as antithrombosis therapies, are widely employed by Chinese clinicians as adjuvant therapy for acute myocardial infarction (AMI). A Bayesian network meta-analysis was conducted to contrast the effectiveness and safety of four TCMI-IBCs in AMI. Eight Databases were thoroughly searched before 31 December 2023, for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) focusing on the application of TCMI-IBCs combined with conventional treatments (CT) to treat AMI.

[Methodological and reporting quality of randomized controlled trials on the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia with traditional Chinese medicine].

Objective: To systematically evaluate the methodological quality and reporting quality of randomized controlled trials (RCT) on the treatment of BPH with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), in order to provide some methodological reference for clinical practice and research.

Methods: We searched CNKI, VIP, Wanfang Data and PubMed for RCTs on the treatment of BPH with TCM published in China from January 2013 to November 2023. Two researchers screened the literature separately, and evaluated the methodological and reporting quality of the RCTs based on the Cochrane bias risk assessment tool and CONSORT TCM compound.

Methods: We searched 10 databases to identify relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published before September 2022.

Advances in fibreoptic ductoscopy for the diagnosis and treatment of pathologic papillary overflow.

Fibreoptic mammography is widely recognised as the first screening method for pathologic papillary overflow due to its significant advantages in the diagnosis of ductal dilatation, intraductal papilloma and intraductal carcinoma. The use of fibreoptic ductoscopic excisional biopsy techniques, such as biopsy needles, vacuum negative pressure aspiration, biopsy forceps and grasping baskets, has not been promoted largely due to their existing deficiencies. The imaging effect of fibreoptic ductoscopy compared with electronic ductoscopy is also one of the important factors limiting the progress of microscopic excisional biopsy techniques.

Comparison of the efficacy of different frequency electroacupuncture in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome patients with abdominal obesity.

Objectives: To compare the effects of 2 Hz continuous wave and 2 Hz/100 Hz dilatational wave setting in electroacupuncture(EA) on ovulation frequency, hormone levels, body fat parameters, quality of life and depression-anxiety level in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) patients with abdominal obesity.

Methods: PCOS patients with abdominal obesity were randomly divided into low-frequency group (=29) and dilatational wave group (=29). Patients in both groups were treated with "Tongtiaodaimai" (regulating Dai Meridian) acupuncture therapy, and EA was applied to bilateral Daimai (GB26), Tianshu (ST25), Shenshu (BL23) and Ciliao (BL32).

Experimental models for elderly patients with membranous nephropathy: Application and advancements.

Membranous nephropathy (MN) occurs predominantly in middle-aged and elderly individuals and ranks among the most prevalent etiologies of elderly nephrotic syndrome. As an autoimmune glomerular disorder characterized by glomerular basement membrane thickening and immune complex deposition, conventional MN animal models, including the Heymann nephritis rat model and the c-BSA mouse model, have laid a foundation for MN pathogenesis research. However, differences in target antigens between rodents and humans have impeded this work.

Single-port insufflation endoscopic nipple-sparing mastectomy in early breast cancer: a retrospective cohort study.

Background: Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in female patients. In recent years, more and more studies have focused on how to improve the appearance and the quality of life for patients. This study aimed to compare the oncologic safety, aesthetic results, and upper extremity function between single-port insufflation endoscopic nipple-sparing mastectomy (SIE-NSM) and conventional open mastectomy (C-OM) in early-stage breast cancer treatment.

The curative effect of fire needling combined with filiform needling on tension-type headache and its effect on the tenderness of pericranial muscles.

Objectives: To observe the curative effect of fire needling pricking pericranial tender points combined with filiform needling on tension-type headache (TTH) and its effect on pericranial muscle tenderness, and explore the correlation between changes of headache symptoms and pericranial muscle tenderness in TTH, to analyze the influence of pericranial muscle tenderness on TTH.

Methods: A total of 41 TTH patients in the treatment group and 38 TTH patients in the control group completed the study. The patients in the treatment group were treated with fire needling at pericranial tender points combined with filiform needling at Baihui (GV20), Sishencong (EX-HN1), Shenting (GV24), Touwei (ST8) and Fengchi (GB20).

Research status and prospect on the mechanisms of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment for constipation of Parkinson's disease.

Constipation may accelerate the progression of Parkinson's disease (PD). The quality of life in PD patients can be significantly improved when constipation is treated, hence the disease progression may be delayed. At present, the mechanism research is still at the initial stage for acupuncture in treatment of PD, focusing on neurohumoral factors, intestinal flora, bacterial fermentation products and intestinal inflammation； and there are the problems such as single intervention, thinking limitation and insufficient cooperation among disciplines.

Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, 64 early-stage breast cancer patients were divided into SIE-NSM-IRPI (n = 38) and C-NSM-IRPI (n = 26) groups. Perioperative results (operation time, intraoperative blood loss, incision length, drainage duration, and recent complications) were then compared between the two groups.
