Status and Influencing Factors of Parenteral Nutrition Practice for Late Preterm Infants in China.

Objectives: To explore the status of parental nutrition practice of hospitalized late preterm infants and the factors influencing the clinical prescription.

Methods: A multi-center, prospective cohort study was conducted during October 2015 to October 2017. Infants born after 34 weeks and before 37 weeks were enrolled from twenty-five hospitals in the Beijing area of China.

Impact of age and menopausal stage on serum anti-Müllerian hormone levels in middle-aged women.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the association between age, menopausal stage and serum anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) levels in middle-aged women.

Methods: In this cross-sectional study, the serum AMH levels of 288 healthy women aged 40-55 years (divided into age groups: 40-44, 45-49 and 50-55 years) were evaluated. Stages of Reproductive Aging Workshop + 10 criteria were used to categorize these women into menopausal stages: late reproductive, menopausal transition and early postmenopausal stages.

Interference of long non-coding RNA HAGLROS inhibits the proliferation and promotes the apoptosis of ovarian cancer cells by targeting miR-26b-5p.

Ovarian cancer (OV) is the fifth most common type of cancer affecting women worldwide. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) serve essential roles in the progression of OV. As such, the present study aimed to investigate the specific role of HAGLR opposite strand lncRNA (HAGLROS) in OV and the underlying mechanism of action through which HAGLROS exerts its effects on OV cells.

Optimal gestational weight gain in Chinese pregnant women by Chinese-specific BMI categories: a multicentre prospective cohort study.

Objective: To establish optimal gestational weight gain (GWG) in Chinese pregnant women by Chinese-specific BMI categories and compare the new recommendations with the Institute of Medicine (IOM) 2009 guidelines.

Design: Multicentre, prospective cohort study. Unconditional logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the OR, 95 % CI and the predicted probabilities of adverse pregnancy outcomes.

[Effect of extracellular signal-regulated kinase pathway on nitric oxide release by human umbilical vein endothelial cell induced by placental growth factor-1].

Objective: To investigate the effect of extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) pathway on nitric oxide (NO) release by human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) induced by placental growth factor-1 (PLGF-1).

Methods: During January to April 2006, 50 samples of umbilical vein blood were collected from newborns delivered by cesarean section due to intrauterine distress and abnormal fetal position. HUVEC were primarily cultured by trypsin digestion.

[The expression of transforming growth factor-alpha and epidermal growth factor receptor in human fetal ovary].

Objective: To investigate the expression of transforming growth factor-alpha (TGF-alpha) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in cultured and uncultured human fetal ovary.

Methods: The ovarian tissues were obtained from 20 human female fetuses from 16 to 40 weeks of gestational age and were cultured for 3-9 days. Expression of TGF-alpha and EGFR protein in the fetal ovarian tissues was examined by immunohistochemical technique.
