Objective: Improving health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in people living with HIV (PLWH) is one of the critical goals of HIV prevention and control in the following decades, and perceived social support (PSS) has always exhibited a positive influence on patients' HRQOL. This study aims to describe the gap in social support in improving HRQOL between symptomatic and asymptomatic PLWH.

Methods: By analysing secondary data from an online survey, a multicenter, descriptive and crosssectional study was conducted.

This retrospective study included 164 HBeAg-positive CHB patients from a randomized controlled trial who were treated with NAs for 104 weeks and underwent paired liver biopsies.

Efficacy and Safety of Glycyrrhizic Acid in Treatment of Autoimmune Hepatitis.

To compare the long-term efficacy and safety of glycyrrhizic acid preparation and hormone treatment in patients with autoimmune hepatitis, we enrolled 377 patients in a study that lasted from January 2009 to January 2020. After performing propensity score matching, we included 58 patients in the hormone group and 58 in the glycyrrhizic acid preparation group in statistical analysis. We then compared the ratio of sustained biochemical responses at 48 weeks after treatment.

Methods: In this prospective cohort study, 25 definitive HoFH patients on high-intensity statins plus ezetimibe were administered subcutaneous injections of 420 mg PCSK9i every 4 weeks (Q4W).

As the effectiveness of antiviral therapy to reverse liver fibrosis is limited, We aimed to evaluate the effect of An-Luo-Hua-Xian pill (ALHX) on fibrosis regression in CHB patients treated with entecavir (ETV).

Methods: Treatment-naïve patients with CHB were randomly treated with ETV alone or combined with ALHX (ETV+ALHX) between October 1, 2013 and December 31, 2020.

Clinical pathology of primary central nervous system lymphoma in HIV-positive patients-a 41 Chinese patients retrospective study.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinicopathological characteristics of primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL).

Methods: We collected 41 PCNSL formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples from human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-positive patients and performed HE (haematoxylin-eosin) staining, immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining, in situ hybridization, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) was performed in 9 cases of FFPE samples.

CD4/CD8 Ratio Recovery Among People Living With HIV Starting With First-Line Integrase Strand Transfer Inhibitors: A Prospective Regional Cohort Analysis.

Background: We evaluated trends in CD4/CD8 ratio among people living with HIV (PLWH) starting antiretroviral therapy (ART) with first-line integrase strand transfer inhibitors (INSTI) compared with non-INSTI-based ART, and the incidence of CD4/CD8 ratio normalization.

Methods: All PLWH enrolled in adult HIV cohorts of IeDEA Asia-Pacific who started with triple-ART with at least 1 CD4, CD8 (3-month window), and HIV-1 RNA measurement post-ART were included. CD4/CD8 ratio normalization was defined as a ratio ≥1.
