And many studies conducted to improve cognitive deficits in bipolar disorder. This systematic review aims to summarize studies on cognitive rehabilitation (CR) conducted in bipolar patients and evaluate its impact on neurocognitive deficits.

Background: Patients with a stroke often cannot care for themselves after hospital discharge. Assessment of their self-care ability is the first step in planning post-discharge home care. This study aimed to design and validate a measure of perceived self-care ability (PSCA) in stroke patients.

Background: Rape, as an adverse incidence, leads to irreparable complications and consequences in women. Health-related quality of life and related factors in patients with colorectal cancer in Iran: a systematic review.

Introduction: This systematic review aims to examine the health-related quality of life (QOL) in Iranian patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) and its related factors.

Methods: A thorough, systematic search was conducted in different international electronic databases, including Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, and Persian electronic databases such as Iranmedex, and Scientific Information Database using keywords such as "Colorectal neoplasm", "Colorectal tumors", "Colorectal cancer", "Quality of life", and "Life quality" from the earliest to 17 October 2022. The quality of the studies included in this systematic review was evaluated using the appraisal tool for cross-sectional studies (AXIS tool).

Evaluation of cyclosporine 0.05% and artificial tears for the management of dry eye disease following cataract surgery: a randomized controlled trial.

Methods: This prospective, double-masked, randomized clinical trial enroled 60 eyes of 60 eligible cataract patients who completed the study.

Background: Sexual changes in breast cancer occur after diagnosis and treatment, including a mastectomy. Sexual assertiveness is an effective factor in sexual satisfaction, which means the ability to convey sexual feelings, beliefs, and thoughts. Given the limited studies on sexual assertiveness in breast cancer and different client participation, this study was conducted to compare the effect of sexual counseling based on two models of PLISSIT (Permission, Limited Information, Specific Suggestion, Intensive Therapy) and BETTER (Bring Up, Explain, Tell, Time, Education, Record) on sexual assertiveness in women after mastectomy.

Neuro-protective Effect of Acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic Acid in a Rat Model of Scopolamine-induced Cholinergic Dysfunction.

Background: Acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid (AKBA) is a major component of the oleo-gum resin of B. serrata with multiple pharmacological activities. The objective of this study was to explore the underlying mechanisms of neuroprotective potential of AKBA against scopolamine-mediated cholinergic dysfunction and memory deficits in rats.

Latent class of depressive symptoms of and its determinants: A cross-sectional study among Iranian University students.

The role of endothelial growth factor and tear levels in diabetic retinopathy in type 2 diabetes.

Purpose: To evaluate the tear level of VEGF and the quantity of tear film in type 2 diabetic patients.

Methods: Thirty patients with diabetic retinopathy (DR group) and 30 patients with no DR (NDR group), and 30 healthy subjects with age and gender matching were enrolled in this prospective comparative study. The tear samples were collected using the Schirmer strips, and the amount of moisture absorbed by the strips was used to determine the quantitative level of the tear film.

An Adolescent Presenting With Mania and Catatonia Associated With Coronavirus Disease-2019 Encephalitis.

There is growing evidence that coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) infection may have various neuropsychiatric manifestations and long-term outcomes. In this article, the authors report a rare case of a 16-year-old male with no previous history of psychiatric illness who presented with an acute manic episode, including laughing for no evident reason, talking to himself, isolation, irritability, sleeplessness, decreased appetite, prolonged staring episodes, having delusions about being harmed or controlled, and aggression. Despite initiating outpatient treatment with a mood stabilizer and antipsychotic for presumed bipolar disorder with psychotic features, his symptoms worsened, and he became catatonic with a decreased level of consciousness, leading to his hospitalization on day 10.

Development and psychometric evaluation of nurse's intention to care for patients with infectious disease scale: an exploratory sequential mixed method study.

Aims: Nurses who care for patients with infectious disease may experince significant stress and negative psychological reactions. The intention of nurses to care is a complex and multifaceted concept that is influenced by a range of factors. Therefore, this study was conducted to explain the concept of nurses' intention to care for patients with infectious disease and then develop a reliable and valid scale to measure this concept accurately in Iranian nurses.
