Objectives: Aortic endografts used for endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) are based on varying skeletal platforms such as stainless steel or nitinol stents, using radial force applied to seal at the aneurysm neck, and varying proximal fixation methods, applying either suprarenal or infrarenal fixation. This study assesses whether varying skeleton/fixation platforms affect neck-related outcomes after primary endostapling with Heli-FX EndoAnchors at EVAR.
Methods: Retrospective analysis of a prospective database of infrarenal EVAR undertaken at a single centre.

Purpose: Loss of fixation and seal represent a key problem when undertaking endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) with hyperangulated necks (HAN). This study assesses the outcomes following the use of adjunct endostapling to supplement proximal aorto-prosthetic fixation in patients who have AAAs with HAN.
Methods: A retrospective review of a prospective database of 42 patients with HAN (> 60°) who underwent endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) with supplementary endostapling was undertaken.

- The study aims to analyze how well Heli-FX EndoAnchors penetrate the wall of the aorta when used during thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) from 2014 to 2019, involving 25 patients with a mean age of around 70.5 years.
- Out of 161 EndoAnchors deployed, 22 were in the aortic arch and 139 in the descending thoracic aorta (DTA), with a 91% rate of adequate wall penetration overall, but a significant proportion (27%) in the arch demonstrated inadequate penetration compared to only 6.5% in the DTA.
