Case: A 46-year-old female patient with a history of Streptococcus pyogenes septic arthritis 32 years earlier presented to an outpatient clinic with complaints of chronic wrist pain and stiffness. Imaging revealed complete pan-carpal metacarpal fusion with advanced radiocarpal arthritis. The patient's pain improved with 3 months of nonoperative management, and she was able to return to previous levels of activity.

Purpose: To investigate the effect of dynamic stabilizers of the elbow on radiocapitellar joint alignment, before and after the administration of regional anesthesia.
Methods: At a single institution, 14 patients were prospectively enrolled in a study using a within-subjects control design. Before performing a supraclavicular regional block, 10 fluoroscopic images (1 anteroposterior and 9 lateral views) of the elbow were obtained for each patient.

Importance: Unlike Merkel cell carcinoma and melanoma, satellitosis or in-transit metastasis (S-ITM) is not incorporated into the current cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) staging systems. It is important to determine if the clinical outcomes of S-ITM are relevant to prognosis for patients with CSCC.
Objectives: To evaluate the association of S-ITM with clinical outcomes in patients with CSCC and to determine its prognostic implications.

Background: The objectives of the study were to evaluate the structures at risk in distal metatarsal mini-invasive osteotomy (DMMO) and to compare standard and intraosseous approaches.
Methods: DMMO was performed on the second and fourth metatarsals of 11 fresh-frozen cadaveric specimens. The standard technique was performed in 11 metatarsals.
Background: Casirivimab and imdevimab are non-competing monoclonal antibodies that bind to two different sites on the receptor binding domain of the SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein, blocking viral entry into host cells. We aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of casirivimab and imdevimab administered in combination in patients admitted to hospital with COVID-19.
Methods: RECOVERY is a randomised, controlled, open-label platform trial comparing several possible treatments with usual care in patients admitted to hospital with COVID-19.

Background: The use of stemless humeral implants for shoulder arthroplasty is becoming increasingly widespread. However, little is known about the difference in clinical, functional, and radiographic outcomes of stemless shoulder arthroplasty between men and women. Men and women do have reported differences in size, strength, and bone quality.

The external ear (EE) is an osseous-cartilaginous structure that extends from the auricle to the tympanic membrane. It is divided into two parts: the auricle (or pinna) and the external auditory canal (EAC). Given the ease of access to the EE, imaging studies are not always needed to make a diagnosis.

Introduction: Olfactory neuroblastoma (ONB) is a rare cancer of the sinonasal region. We provide a comprehensive analysis of this malignancy with molecular and clinical trial data on a subset of our cohort to report on the potential efficacy of somatostatin receptor 2 (SSTR2)-targeting imaging and therapy.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of 404 primary, locally recurrent, and metastatic olfactory neuroblastoma (ONB) patients from 12 institutions in the United States of America, United Kingdom and Europe.

Background: Bone-marrow-derived haematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) are a prominent part of the highly complex tumour microenvironment (TME) where they localise within tumours and maintain haematopoietic potency. Understanding the role HSPCs play in tumour growth and response to radiation therapy (RT) may lead to improved patient treatments and outcomes.
Methods: We used a mouse model of non-small cell lung carcinoma where tumours were exposed to RT regimens alone or in combination with GW2580, a pharmacological inhibitor of colony stimulating factor (CSF)-1 receptor.

Introduction: Chondrosarcomas are the most common primary bone malignancy in adults within the United States. Low-grade chondrosarcomas of the long bones, now referred to as atypical cartilaginous tumors (ACTs), have undergone considerable changes in recommended management over the past 20 years, although controversy remains. Diagnostic needle biopsy is recommended only in ambiguous lesions that cannot be clinically diagnosed with a multidisciplinary team.

»: Atypical cartilaginous tumors (ACTs), also referred to as grade-1 chondrosarcomas, may be managed without any intervention or with extended intralesional curettage and bone-void filling.
»: High-grade chondrosarcomas, or grade-2 and 3 chondrosarcomas, should be managed aggressively with wide resection.

Ewing's Sarcoma family of tumors are rare, malignant round cell tumors arising from undifferentiated mesenchymal cells. This aggressive neoplastic disease has a quick metastatic onset often resulting in a poor prognosis. In this case study we present a 21-year-old female diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma of the third metatarsal bone.

Case: The Ganz periacetabular osteotomy (PAO) is widely used to correct developmental hip dysplasia in the adolescent and young adult population. The aim of this case study was to examine the novel utility and safety of Stoppa approach for the Ganz PAO in a 15-year-old girl and 25-year-old man. The Stoppa approach is traditionally used for acetabular fractures, and its use for a Ganz PAO is relatively novel.

Background: Advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is characterized by progressive weight loss and nutritional deterioration. This wasting has been linked to poor survival outcomes, alterations in host defenses, decreased functional ability, and diminished health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in pancreatic cancer patients. There are currently no standardized approaches to the management of pancreatic cancer cachexia.
