Critical congenital heart disease (CCHD) is one of the leading causes of neonatal and infant mortality. We aimed to elucidate the epidemiology, spectrum, and outcome of neonatal CCHD in Türkiye. Aim: To investigate vascular changes in different stages of glaucoma and to evaluate the role of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) in the early diagnosis of glaucoma.

Methods: Glaucoma patients and healthy controls (=29 eyes) were investigated in this cross-sectional comparative study. Glaucoma patients were grouped as ocular hypertension (=44 eyes), preperimetric glaucoma (PPG; =32 eyes), early glaucoma (EG; =35 eyes), moderate stage glaucoma (MG; =36 eyes), and advanced glaucoma (AG; =35 eyes).

Background And Objectives: We explored the prognostic usefulness of the pan-immune-inflammation value (PIV) in patients with stage IIIB/C non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who underwent concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT).

Methods And Patients: For all patients, the PIV was calculated using platelet (P), monocyte (M), neutrophil (N), and lymphocyte (L) measures obtained on the first day of CCRT: PIV = P × M × N ÷ L. Using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, we searched for the existence of an ideal cutoff that may partition patients into two groups with unique progression-free- (PFS) and overall survival (OS) results.

Objectives: The objective is to predict the development of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in discordant twins using a machine learning approach.

Methods: The records of 640 twin pairs born at 32-35 weeks gestational age (GA) with birth weight (BW) discordance were evaluated retrospectively. The infants' gender, GA, postmenstruel age at examination, BW, discordance rate, ROP Stages and Zones, and treatment options were recorded.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy and quality of the videos published on YouTube on the subject of disorder of sexual development. The search was performed by using term 'disorder of sexual development', 'differences in sex development', 'variations in sex development' and 'intersex' on YouTube. Videos in languages other than English and whose sound or image quality was poor were excluded from the study.

Evaluation of endovascular treatment of chronic limb-threatening ischemia for patients in the PLAN gray zone.

Objective: To compare the results of endovascular therapy for chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) in patients categorized under the gray and yellow zones of the patient risk, limb severity, and anatomic pattern (PLAN) concept over a 2-year follow-up period.

Methods: Patients who underwent endovascular therapy for peripheral artery disease and presented with CLTI from February 2017 to February 2019 were retrospectively reviewed. The patients were grouped into yellow and gray zones based on the PLAN concept.

Efficacy and safety of the proposed bevacizumab biosimilar BAT1706 compared with reference bevacizumab in patients with advanced nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer: A randomized, double-blind, phase III study.

Background: BAT1706 is a proposed biosimilar of bevacizumab (Avastin®). We aimed to compare the efficacy and safety of BAT1706 with that of EU-sourced reference bevacizumab (EU-bevacizumab) in patients with advanced nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Methods: Patients were randomized 1:1 to BAT1706 plus paclitaxel and carboplatin (BAT1706 arm) or EU-bevacizumab plus paclitaxel and carboplatin (EU-bevacizumab arm) given every 3 weeks for six cycles, followed by maintenance therapy with BAT1706 or EU-bevacizumab.

The aim of this study is to determine the functioning of adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) diagnosed in childhood and depression and burnout levels among their parents. A total of 261 adults with ASDs and their parents were recruited for the study. Both parents completed the Beck Depression and Maslach Burnout Inventories and reported the functioning of their adult offspring with ASDs.

Prognostic significance of medical therapy in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.
