Introduction: The stromal vascular fraction (SVF) is a heterogeneous population of cells that, interacting with each other, can affect the processes of regeneration, angiogenesis, and immunomodulation. Over the past 20 years, there has been a trend towards an increase in the number of clinical studies on the therapeutic use of SVF. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are also important regulators of cellular function and they have been shown to be involved in SVF cellular component function.

Claudins are a tetraspan membrane protein multigene family that plays a structural and functional role in constructing tight junctions. Claudins perform crucial roles in maintaining cell polarity in epithelial and endothelial cell sheets and controlling paracellular permeability. In the last two decades, increasing evidence indicates that claudin proteins play a major role in controlling paracellular permeability and signaling inside cells.

Antipsychotics (AP) induced prolongation of the QT interval in patients with schizophrenia (Sch) is an actual interdisciplinary problem as it increases the risk of sudden death syndrome. Long QT syndrome (LQTS) as a cardiac adverse drug reaction is a multifactorial symptomatic disorder, the development of which is influenced by modifying factors (APs' dose, duration of APs therapy, APs polytherapy, and monotherapy, etc.) and non-modifying factors (genetic predisposition, gender, age, etc.

Cytochrome P450 is an enzyme involved in the metabolism of phase 1 xenobiotics, toxins, endogenous hormones, and drugs, including those used in COVID-19 treatment. Cytochrome p450 genes are linked to the pathogenesis of some multifactorial traits and diseases, such as cancer, particularly prostate cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, and cervical cancer. Genotyping was performed on 540 supposedly healthy individuals of 5 Finno-Permic populations from the territories of the European part of the Russian Federation.

Schizophrenia (Sch) is a severe and widespread mental disorder. Antipsychotics (APs) of the first and new generations as the first-line treatment of Sch are not effective in about a third of cases and are also unable to treat negative symptoms and cognitive deficits of schizophrenics. This explains the search for new therapeutic strategies for a disease-modifying therapy for treatment-resistant Sch (TRS).

As a result of bright complexation properties, easy functionalization and the ability to self-organize in an aqueous solution, amphiphilic supramolecular macrocycles are being actively studied for their application in nanomedicine (drug delivery systems, therapeutic and theranostic agents, and others). In this regard, it is important to study their potential toxic effects. Here, the synthesis of amphiphilic calix[4]resorcinarene carboxybetaines and their esters and the study of a number of their microbiological properties are presented: cytotoxic effect on normal and tumor cells and effect on cellular and non-cellular components of blood (hemotoxicity, anti-platelet effect, and anticoagulant activity).

Circular RNAs are non-coding RNAs that widely exist in eukaryotes. The research progress of its generation mechanism and biological function show that circular RNAs may be used in the development of tumors, neurological diseases, cardiovascular diseases. They play an important role in the occurrence and development of diseases and has a potential to be used as a disease marker.

Acute lung injury (ALI) is a devastating disease with a high mortality rate of 30%-40%. There is an unmet clinical need owing to limited treatment strategies and little clinical benefit. The pathology of ALI indicates that reducing the inflammatory response could be a highly desirable strategy to treat ALI.

Human periodontal ligament-derived cells are important seed cells for periodontal regeneration, and their osteogenic potential closely affects alveolar bone repair and periodontal regeneration. Human periodontal ligament stem cells are pluripotent stem cells of mesenchymal origin, which can differentiate in osteoblasts and cementoblasts. However, the molecular mechanism of this differentiation activity is poorly studied.

Titanium is considered to be the most essential metal in the field of implantology. The main factors determining metal biocompatibility, among others, include the morphology and chemical composition of the titanium surface. Therefore, the aim of this work was to develop approaches to control the biological activity of the titanium surface by creating coatings that combine both an inorganic phase with a given morphology and organic molecules containing an integrin-selective peptide that regulate cell adhesion and proliferation.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of death and morbidity from malignant neoplasms worldwide, and its poor prognosis places a heavy burden on patients. A large percentage of lung cancer cases are associated with smoking. A significant number of non-smokers also develop the disease, suggesting an epigenetic and genetic mechanism for the development of lung cancer.

Objective: Several forms of cerebral revascularization have been carried out to treat moyamoya disease, however, the existing methods are accompanied by a variety of complications. In this study, the authors aimed to evaluate the clinical and angiographic outcomes of a new surgical procedure: superficial temporal artery-middle cerebral artery (STA-MCA) anastomosis combined with multiple burr hole (MBH) surgery and dural inversion synangiosis for the treatment of moyamoya disease in adults.
Methods: Patients treated for moyamoya disease from August 2019 to July 2021 were retrospectively reviewed.

This is the most common malignant neoplasm and the leading cause of cancer death in men worldwide. Genomic markers include tools and technologies that can predict the probability of an initial positive biopsy, reduce the number of unnecessary repeated biopsies, identify tumors with low, medium and high risk, classify the degree of disease, as well as predict and monitor the clinical response to intervention.

Introduction: Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS), caused by Orthohantaviruses, occupies one of the leading places among natural focal human diseases, for which there are no modern accurate and highly sensitive diagnostic methods. To improve this situation, a better understanding of the Hantavirus pathogenesis of HFRS is required. Determination of the expression level of exosomal microRNAs (miRNAs) in the serum/plasma of patients makes them potential biomarkers for diagnosing and predicting HFRS.

Natural monoterpenes and their derivatives are widely considered as effective ingredients for the design and production of new biologically active compounds with high antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-protozoa properties. In this study, we synthesized two series of thiotherpenoids "sulfide-sulfoxide-sulfone", with different bicyclic monoterpene skeleton (bornane and pinane) structures. The effect of the obtained compounds on platelet aggregation was investigated by using the molecular docking technique.
