Generalised arterial calcification of infancy, an autosomal recessive disorder characterised by abnormal calcification of medium and large-sized arteries, represents a rare cause of dilated cardiomyopathy. We present the case of a two-month-old girl diagnosed posthumously with dilated cardiomyopathy. Studies suggest that early initiation of treatment can improve prognosis in generalised arterial calcification of infancy, so clinicians should be alert to the condition, especially in patients displaying generalised narrowing of medium and large-sized arteries.

This study aimed to compare the effect of room arrangement on the mood and milk volume of mothers who gave birth by cesarean section and whose babies were not with them. The study included 89 mothers with and without infants living in the same room (Group 1) and 94 mothers without and without infants living in the same room (Group 2) (n = 183). The expression of milk was performed twice (0-6 h after birth and 36-48 h before discharge) using an electric breast pump.

Enhancing Facial Filler Training with 3D-Printed Models: A Prospective Observational Study on Medical Student Competence.

BACKGROUND This study evaluated the efficacy of 3-dimensional (3D) printed facial models in training medical students for cosmetic facial filler applications. A prospective observational study included 40 medical faculty students without prior filler application or surgical training. They received theoretical and practical training using 3D-printed face models, assessed through pre- and post-training surveys.

Evaluation of risk factors for long-term atrial fibrillation development in patients undergoing typical atrial flutter ablation: a multicenter pilot study.

Background: Atrial flutter (AFL) and atrial fibrillation (AF) are the most commonly detected supraventricular arrhythmias and share similar pathophysiological mechanisms. After the successful ablation of AFL, AF frequently occurs in the long-term follow-up.
