Materials and Methods Three commercial DL algorithms (DL-1, DL-2, and DL-3) were retrospectively investigated from January 2022 to June 2022 using consecutive full-field digital mammograms collected at two UK sites during 1 year (2017).

Background And Purpose: Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) is a relatively recently described disease, most commonly presenting with optic neuritis and longitudinally extensive transverse myelitis. Cerebral cortical encephalitis is a rare manifestation of MOGAD.

Purpose: The literature on factors predisposing to meniscal tears in the paediatric population focuses on concomitant injuries such as anterior cruciate ligament rupture (ACL) or abnormal meniscus morphology such as discoid menisci. Patella alta has been associated with ACL ruptures but its association with meniscal tears has not been described. The purpose of our study was to evaluate whether abnormal patella height is associated with isolated meniscus tears in skeletally immature patients METHODS: We retrospectively analysed all patients under 16 years of age who had an isolated meniscal tear diagnosis confirmed on arthroscopic surgery.

Background: Patients with Gorlin (basal cell nevus) syndrome (GS) have numerous phenotypic abnormalities due to over-activity of the hedgehog (HH) signaling pathway, most commonly due to a heritable mutation in the PTCH1 gene, which encodes a major inhibitor of this pathway. HH inhibitors (HHi) taken orally can reverse some of the manifestations, most prominent of which is the development of numerous cutaneous basal cell carcinomas (BCCs). In order to improve the benefit:risk ratio, we have developed a gel containing a small cyclopamine-derived molecule that can be applied topically in expectation that this mode of delivery can reduce the burden of BCCs without producing the systemic adverse effects that cause patients to stop treatment with oral HHis.

This fragment must be precisely addressed as volar carpal subluxation is unavoidable when fixation is not efficient. The spring-wire technique maintains a stable fixation of this key fragment, which has been previously described in a small series.

Here we aimed at characterizing the prevalence and clinical significance of clonal hematopoiesis in ITP. In this multicentric retrospective observational study we enrolled 167 adult ITP patients, followed at 13 centers in Italy, UK, and USA.
