Newly synthesized 1-bromo-2-(4-bromophenylsulfonate)-4,4-dimethyl-1-cyclohexenyl-6-one (CHD) as a potential anticorrosive agent in an acidic medium at an elevated temperature range of 305-335 K. This synthesized compound confirmed by spectral characterizations and it acts as a coating on mild steel surfaces in 1 M Hydrochloric acid (HCl) solution through electrochemical reactions. The synthesis of the compound has been discussed, and the Infrared (IR) and Nucleic Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectral analysis confirmed the derivative.

A non-Newtonian liquid motion across a stretchable surface is relevant to various industrial applications, including extruding plastic sheets and stretching plastic films. In connection with this, the impact of endothermic and exothermic chemical reactions on the flow of rate-type liquid via an oscillatory stretching sheet in the presence of permeable media with the Maxwell liquid model is elucidated in the present study. Scientists and engineers may enhance the efficiency of chemical reactions or heat transmission by optimising system flow and investigating the effect of reactions on flow dynamics.

The use of topological descriptors is the key method, regardless of great advances taking place in the field of drug design. Descriptors portray the chemical characteristic of a molecule in numerical form, that is used for QSAR/QSPR models. The numerical values related with chemical constitutions that correlate the chemical structure with the physical properties refer to topological indices.

A large amount of patient information has been gathered in Electronic Health Records (EHRs) concerning their conditions. An EHR, as an unstructured text document, serves to maintain health by identifying, treating, and curing illnesses. In this research, the technical complexities in extracting the clinical text data are removed by using machine learning and natural language processing techniques, in which an unstructured clinical text data with low data quality is recognized by Halve Progression, which uses Medical-Fissure Algorithm which provides better data quality and makes diagnosis easier by using a cross-validation approach.

The use of digital medical images is increasing with advanced computational power that has immensely contributed to developing more sophisticated machine learning techniques. Determination of age and gender of individuals was manually performed by forensic experts by their professional skills, which may take a few days to generate results. A fully automated system was developed that identifies the gender of humans and age based on digital images of teeth.

From the perspective of an ever-increasing multidrug resistance among bacterial pathogens, bacteriophages are receiving renewed interest as potential alternative to antibiotics. We investigated the potential of a locally isolated species-specific phage against Staphylococcus aureus infection in a skin excisional wound model in mice. A significant time-dependent increase (P < 0.

The quality of ground water supplies in Davanagere Taluk, situated in central part of Karnataka has been investigated with respect to pH, dissolved solids, chlorides, nitrates and fluorides. The levels of pH, dissolved solids and chlorides were found within the safe limits as prescribed by BIS, for more than 95% of the samples. Out of the 61 different borewell samples analysed, selected from different areas of Davanagere taluk, 26% of the samples are found to contain fluorides less than 0.
