Heilongjiang Province Key Laboratory of Geographical Environment Monitoring and Spatial Information Service in Cold Regions, Harbin Normal University, Harbin, China.

Revealing the patterns and influencing mechanisms of spatial and temporal distribution of rural settlements is crucial for rural revitalization and sustainable development. However, our limited understanding of the rural settlements in China's ethnic minority border areas has hindered the process of their agricultural and rural modernization. Based on data on rural settlements in Inner Mongolia, China in four periods between 1990 and 2020, this study reveals its spatial and temporal distribution characteristics and describes the dynamic transformation process of settlement.

In this work, with the the HTiO colloidal suspension and MoS as the precursors, TiO/MoS composites composed of anatase TiO nanocrystals with co-exposed {101} and [111]-facets (nanorod and nanocuboid), {101} and {010} facets (nanospindle), and MoS microspheres constructed by layer-by-layer self-assembly of nanosheets were hydrothermally synthesized under different pH conditions. The characterization has been performed by combining X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high resolution TEM (HRTEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), photoluminescence (PL) spectra, and UV-visible absorption spectrum analyses. The photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B (RhB) in an aqueous suspension was employed to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of the as-prepared pH-TiO/MoS composites.

Gut microbiota plays a vital role in maintaining the health and immunity of wild birds. However, less is known about the comparison of fecal microbiota between different ecological groups of wild birds, particularly in the Yellow River National Wetland in Baotou, China, an important transit point for birds migrating all over the East Asia-Australian and Central Asian flyways. In this study, we characterized the fecal microbiota and potential microbial function in nine bird species of raptors, waders, and waterfowl using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing to reveal the microbiota differences and interaction patterns.

Soil water soluble base ion salt-based ion concentrations are critical parameters for estimating soil buffer capacity and vegetation productivity. Ionic content clearly covaries with the distribution of plant communities. Previous studies on salt-based ions in soils focused primarily on ion migration and its relationships with vegetation growth.

While promoting the economic growth, energy has also brought pollution problems to the world environment, which has gradually become a bottleneck impeding sustainable economic development. In view of the rapid evolution of urbanization and industrialization, economic growth is increasingly dependent on the energy consumption, the development of the two is difficult to coordinate, and the internal contradictions are becoming increasingly serious, which hinders the sustainable development of economic growth. This study establishes the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth according to the energy Kuznets curve and studies the future trend of China's sustainable development through the comparative analysis of the energy Kuznets curve of the United States and Germany.

July 2022

Tianjin Key Laboratory of Electronic Materials and Devices, School of Electronics and Information Engineering, Hebei University of Technology, 5340 Xiping Road, Tianjin, 300401, P. R. China.

Ultrathin 2D perovskite nanoplatelets (NPLs) have many excellent optical properties including narrow absorption and emission spectra, and large exciton binding energies. Doping Mn into perovskite NPLs also introduces strong orange luminescence due to the d-d de-excitation recombination. However, it is very challenging to synthesize Mn doped ultrathin perovskite NPLs.

July 2022

School of Music, Baotou Teachers' College, lnner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, Baotou, Inner Mongolia 014030, China.

In order to improve the accuracy of music emotion recognition and classification, this study combines an explicit sparse attention network with deep learning and proposes an effective emotion recognition and classification method for complex music data sets. First, the method uses fine-grained segmentation and other methods to preprocess the sample data set, so as to provide a high-quality input data sample set for the classification model. The explicit sparse attention network is introduced into the deep learning network to reduce the influence of irrelevant information on the recognition results and improve the emotion classification and recognition ability of music sample data set.

In view of the low efficiency of traditional data fusion algorithms in wireless sensor networks and the difficulty in processing high-dimensional data, a new algorithm CNNMDA, based on the deep learning model is proposed to realize data fusion. Firstly, the algorithm trains the constructed feature extraction model CNNM at the sink node; then each terminal node extracts the original data features through CNNM and finally sends the fused data to the sink node, so as to reduce the data transmission amount and prolong the network life. Simulation experiments show that compared with similar fusion algorithms, the CNNMDA can greatly reduce network energy consumption under the same data amount, and effectively improve the efficiency and accuracy of data fusion.

A Novel Floating High-Voltage Level Shifter with Pre-Storage Technique.

Sensors (Basel)

February 2022

School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, La Trobe University, Melbourne, VIC 3086, Australia.

This paper proposes a novel floating high-voltage level shifter (FHV-LS) with the pre-storage technique for high speed and low deviation in propagation delay. With this technology, the transmission paths from input to output are optimized, and thus the propagation delay of the proposed FHV-LS is reduced to as low as the sub-nanosecond scale. To further reduce the propagation delay, a pull-up network with regulated strength is introduced to reduce the fall time, which is a crucial part of the propagation delay.
