Clinical efficacy of combined goserelin and anastrozole in neoadjuvant endocrine therapy for premenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.

Objective: The objective of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of combining goserelin with anastrozole in neoadjuvant endocrine therapy (NET) for patients diagnosed with premenopausal breast cancer.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinicopathological data of 34 patients diagnosed with premenopausal breast cancer who underwent NET in the Department of Breast Surgery at Baotou Cancer Hospital between March 2016 and December 2019. Additionally, the feasibility of using goserelin combined with anastrozole for premenopausal endocrine therapy was assessed.
