Objective: To investigate whether the timing of bacillus Calmette-Guerin instillation (TTBCG), which plays a key role in treating non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC), after transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) affects oncologic outcomes.

Methods: Patient data obtained from the Urologic Cancer Database-Bladder (UroCaD-B) of Turkish Uro-oncology Association (TUOA) were evaluated. Data from 292 patients from 12 centers with primary T1HG treated with TURBT and maintenance BCG between 2003 and 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.

Background: To minimize adverse events of peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) collection in healthy donors, it is reasonable to limit the total dose of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) and/or the number of apheresis days without decreasing of PBSCs yield. Therefore, we have started to collect G-CSF induced PBSCs on day 4 instead of on day 5. So, we retrospectively aimed to investigate the results of this 4-day G-CSF administration.

Introduction: Conflicting evidence exists regarding the concurrent use of cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitors and proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) in the treatment of breast cancer. This study aimed to investigate whether PPI use interferes with the efficacy of CDK4/6 inhibitors.

To investigate the rate of colchicine use in the longitudinal follow-up of familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) carriers and identify variables that could predict the necessity of colchicine treatment in this group. The study was conducted in 9 pediatric rheumatology centers. The files of children with MEFV gene carriers were retrospectively reviewed between February 2014 and May 2024.

Retinoblastoma Protein Loss in p53 Abnormal Endometrial Carcinoma: Histologic and Clinicopathological Correlates.

Of the 4 molecular subtypes of endometrial cancer (EC), p53-abnormal (p53abn) EC is associated with abundant copy number alterations and the worst clinical outcome. Patients with p53abn EC have the highest risk of disease recurrence and death, independent of tumor grade and histologic subtype. Currently, all invasive p53abn ECs are considered high risk, and no prognostic biomarkers have yet been found that can aid in clinical management.
