Coexistence of pulmonary tuberculosis with pulmonary sarcoidosis and skin sarcoidosis: a case report.

Background: Necrotising granulomatous diseases of the lungs exhibit a narrow range of differential diagnoses. Tuberculosis accounts for most of these cases, while sarcoidosis is an uncommon entity in this group but both possess similar clinical and radiological similarities. One must consider a diagnosis of sarcoidosis once the standard anti-mycobacterial medications fail to achieve a clinical improvement.

Idiopathic true ulnar artery aneurysm.

Introduction And Importance: True ulnar artery aneurysms are a rare entity, with existing literature suggesting that most of these aneurysms are due to trauma. This case report sheds light on a true ulnar artery aneurysm that was deemed to be idiopathic.

Case Presentation: A 49-year-old lady presented with numbness in the medial 3 fingers of the left hand, tenderness over the medial forearm, and a palpable ulnar artery pulse.

Introduction: Osteoid osteomas (OO) are small, well-defined, benign bone tumors of the young that are commonly found in long bones. In rare circumstances, when present elsewhere, they can mimic the symptoms of other pathologies pertaining to that area.

Presentation Of Case: We present such case in which an "OO" of the coracoid process led to a 2-year delay in diagnosis and management of a young male due to the presenting symptoms resembling those of other shoulder pathologies.

A 57-year-old obese, diabetic woman, presented with 1 day history of purulent umbilical discharge. She was vitally stable and afebrile. Abdominal examination revealed a full abdomen with purulent discharge from the umbilicus, swelling with erythema and induration surrounding the umbilicus.

Juvenile Psammomatoid Ossifying Fibroma (JPOF) of Proximal Radius: A Rare Entity.

Background: Juvenile psammomatoid ossifying fibroma (JPOF) is a rare fibro-osseous lesion that usually occurs in the facial bones. The pathognomonic histopathologic feature is the presence of spherical ossicles, which are similar to psammoma bodies. It is considered to be a unique lesion because of its reported tendency to occur in children and adolescents and its tendency for locally aggressive growth.

Modified Open Suprapectoral EndoButton Tension Slide Tenodesis Technique of Long Head of Biceps with Restored Tendon Tension-Length.

Background: The vast majority of biceps tendon ruptures occurs at the proximal insertion and almost always involves the long head. There are several options for long head of biceps (LHB) tenodesis with advantage and disadvantages of each technique. We believe that the suprapectoral LHB tenodesis described in this article enables the restoration of the anatomic length-tension relation in a technically reproducible manner, when following the guidelines set forth in this article, and restores biceps contour and function adequately with a low risk of complications.

Background: Various types of osteotomies have been used to facilitate reduction of the radial head and to prevent recurrent subluxation. The Bouyala technique - open reduction of radial head associated with open wedge ulnar osteotomy with or without annular ligament reconstruction, is presently the most widely used treatment for long- standing traumatic dislocation of the radial head, independently of age, in the absence of osteoarthritis remodeling, and should preferably be performed within 1 year of trauma.

Method: In this article, we present a similar case operated by same technique, but we used synthetic phosphocalcic ceramic wedge graft instead of auto bone graft as described in many other studies.

The Lauge-Hansen (LH) classification attempts to predict patterns of ankle injuries based upon the preceding mechanism of injury. Although it is widely used in clinical practice, it has been criticized mainly due to numerous reports of cases conflicting the prediction system. Here, we report a case of a 32-year-old male who sustained a Weber B fracture of the lateral malleolus following a supination ankle injury, which was treated conservatively, following which the patient presented with ankle instability and was found to have concurrent anterior talofibular ligament tear.
