Background And Objective: TRIV is a new and promising technique based on the fact that Vulva can be divided into three circular zones based on anatomy, embryology, and histology- Outer, Middle, and Inner ring. The umbilical vein can be reliably used for central venous access in neonates less than 14 days old. The catheter used in the umbilical vein normally extends proximally to the inferior vena cava and can be utilized for drug delivery as well as venous sampling. Herein, we describe a neonate with a broken umbilical vein catheter (UVC) stuck in the right atrium and inferior vena cava (IVC), and its successful, uneventful removal via the transfemoral route.

Nail unit verruca is the most common nail tumor encountered in clinical practice and may be highly distressing to patients due to reduced functionality, cosmesis, and stigmatization. Subungual and periungual verrucae present a challenge for treatment compared to cutaneous warts of other sites and recurrence rates are high. We report a rare case of furuncular myiasis in a 7-year-old boy presenting with a discharging nodule over the scalp. The report details the clinical presentation, examination findings, and dermoscopic features of furuncular myiasis.
