Background: Infectious diseases are one of the most important problems that affect the whole world. Aim: To develop a nutritional screening tool and examine its reliability and validity in elementary school children with malnutrition based on PRECEDE-PROCEED model, in Shiraz, Iran.
Methods: A questionnaire was designed and its reproducibility was analysed via test-retest design among students with malnutrition. The students were in the fourth to sixth grades.
Introduction: The Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) has some limitations when evaluating the unconscious patient. This study aims to validate the Persian version of the FOUR (Full Outline of Unresponsiveness) score as a proposed substitute.
Methods: Two nurses, two nursing students, and two physicians scored the prepared Persian version of the FOUR and GCS in 84 patients with acute brain injury.

Background: Workers are more susceptible to stress disorder for several reasons. The aim of this study was to investigate occupational stress among workers and other personnel at the ZardjinBaft Workshop in Ilam, Iran, and to examine the relationship between occupational stress and several parameters, such as age, gender, marital status, educational level, work experience, tobacco use, body mass index (BMI), and the type of work.
Method: This was a descriptive, cross-sectional study that was performed in June 2010.

Background: Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) is a treatment strategy to relieve the symptoms of coronary artery disease (CAD). Based on determining the long term outcome of CABG using SF-36 Health Related Quality Of Life (HRQOL) questionnaire, the present study was conducted in our center to determine the CABG results one-year after the operation.
Methods: Between March 2005 and August 2009, 112 patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) who underwent coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) were enrolled.
