Tuberculosis of the pancreas is extremely rare and is most often associated with miliary tuberculosis or occurs in the immunocompromised patients. A case of isolated pancreatic tuberculosis in an immunocompetent patient is presented with constitutional symptoms and obstructive jaundice. Ultrasonography and computerised tomography showed a mass lesion in the head of pancreas.

A study was carried out among 81 women with previous one caesarean section (CS) done for non-recurrent indications to confirm the efficacy and safety of trial of labour (TOL) and to examine the effect of various factors on the mode of delivery. Singleton term pregnancy, vertex presentation and adequate pelvic capacity were the pre-requisites for case selection. Careful monitoring was done during labour and effect of various factors on the outcome was analysed statistically.

Unusual presentation of T-cell lymphoma.

A 56-year old woman developed multiple papules, plaques and erythema - multiforme (EM) like lesions on palms, soles, abdomen, back, axillary and gluteal folds of one month duration. She also had erythematous plaques, painful necrotising ulcers and oro-genital ulcerations. Skin biopsy was suggestive of plaque stage of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.

A comparative study of loratadine versus pheniramine maleate in chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Fifty cases with chronic idiopathic urticaria of more than 3 months duration were selected and divided into two groups. Group 'A' was given 10 mg loratadine once daily, while group 'B' was given pheniramine maleate 25 mg, twice daily for one month. All patients were followed for one month more.
