In this systematic review, we evaluate the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of vaccination efforts against Alzheimer's disease (AD) in human subjects from both ongoing and completed vaccination trials. Databases like PubMed, Embase, and Scopus were used to identify relevant articles on completed vaccination trials whereas the clinicaltrials.gov database was used for identifying ongoing clinical trials for vaccination against AD in humans until January 2022.

Cytomegalovirus hemorrhagic colitis in an immunocompetent patient with COVID-19 infection: A case report.

In coronavirus disease-19, we should suspect the opportunistic coinfections even in immunocompetent individuals. In the presence of recurrent gastrointestinal problems, colonoscopy should be done with biopsy and histopathology to diagnose the opportunistic infection, such as cytomegalovirus colitis, in patient with coronavirus disease-19. Here, we report a case of immunocompetent male with coronavirus disease-19 presenting with per rectal bleeding diagnosed as cytomegalovirus colitis.

Intestinal tuberculosis can masquerade as Crohn's disease: A teachable moment.

Intestinal tuberculosis and Crohn's disease are chronic granulomatous diseases with similar clinical presentations and can mimic one another. Their treatment modalities are completely different; however, sometimes it is challenging to differentiate them. We report a case of a 51-year-old female presenting with abdominal pain and on-and-off diarrhea for 4 years with weight loss.

Spontaneous idiopathic omental bleeding: a case report of rare cause of acute abdomen.

Idiopathic omental hemorrhage is a rare cause of an acute abdomen, which is potentially life threatening. Here, we report a case of a 34-year-old male who presented to the emergency department with sudden, severe pain abdomen and abdominal distension for 1 day. There was no history of trauma, abdominal surgeries or any significant past medical history.

Microsurgery is still considered a specialized procedure and is not routinely performed in the resource-constrained environment of developing country like Nepal. Severe homozygous HbE disease: the first case report from Nepal.

Hemoglobin E (HbE) is the most prevalent hemoglobinopathy in the eastern Indian subcontinent. We presented the case of a 53-year-old male from Nepal with a history of multiple blood transfusions who presented with abdominal fullness for 15 years and easy fatigability for 2 months. Rare case of multiple neurofibromas of the scalp and trunk in association with intradural extramedullary spinal tumor: a case report.

Unlabelled: Neurofibromas are tumors of neural connective tissue composed of Schwann cells and fibroblasts. They can occur anywhere in the body, primarily as a solitary mass or as a component of neurofibromatosis. Only 1/4 of the intradural extramedullary spinal tumors are neurofibromas.

Management of hemorrhagic pleural effusion with intrapleural streptokinase in a patient on peritoneal dialysis and dual antiplatelet therapy.

Key Clinical Message: Intrapleural streptokinase can be an option for loculated hemorrhagic pleural effusion among patients receiving CAPD and under DAPT. Its use can be individualized based on risk benefit analysis by the treating clinician.
