Primary vulvar melanoma is a rare but highly aggressive malignant neoplasm accounting for 1-2 % of all malignant melanoma and 5-10 % of all vulvar cancers in females. Here we report a case of 32 years old female diagnosed with primary vulvar melanoma during the evaluation of a two cm growth in the inner labia minora on the right side. She underwent wide local excision with excision of the distal one cm of the urethra and bilateral groin node dissection.

Palmar hyperhidrosis (PH) is a medical condition characterized by excessive sweating in the palms of the hands, which can result in significant distress and impairment in daily activities. Flammeus nevus, on the other hand, is a benign vascular lesion that appears as a red or purplish discoloration on the skin, commonly found on the face, neck, or trunk. In some cases, flammeus nevus can co-occur with PH, leading to increased sweating in the affected area.

Case Presentation: The authors present a case of a 24-year-old male from eastern Nepal, who presented following mass envenomation by hornet stings. He had progressive yellowish discoloration of skin and sclera, myalgia, fever, and dizziness.
Unlabelled: Spontaneous bilateral intracerebral haemorrhage is a rare surgical occurrence, especially in young populations with poor prognosis. Hypertension is the leading cause but vascular malformations, infections and rare genetic conditions are also responsible.

Case Presentation: The authors present a case of a 65-year-old gentleman who presented to our institute with complaints of sudden onset abdominal distension and multiple episodes of bilious vomiting for 4 days. On examination, he was cachexic and dehydrated and was diagnosed later with SMA syndrome based on contrast-enhanced computed tomography abdomen findings.

Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma (BSCC) is a rare, distinctive, and aggressive variant of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) primarily seen in the upper aerodigestive tract with epiglottis, soft palate, and base of the tongue being site of high preference in head and neck region. It differs from conventional SCC histologically and immunologically, is most frequently found in males in their sixth and seventh decades, and is frequently linked to alcohol and tobacco use. High stage disease with distant metastases, a high recurrence rate, and a dismal prognosis is how BSCC typically manifests.

We aimed to assess the burden of NCDIs across socioeconomic groups, their economic impact, existing health service readiness and availability, current policy frameworks and national investment, and planned programmatic initiatives in Nepal through a comprehensive literature review. Secondary data from Global Burden of Disease estimates from GBD 2015 and National Living Standard Survey 2011 were used to estimate the burden of NCDI and present the relationship of NCDI burden with socioeconomic status. The Commission used these data to define priority NCDI conditions and recommend potential cost-effective, poverty-averting, and equity-promoting health system interventions.
