Hemiplegic individuals often demonstrate gait abnormality causing asymmetry in lower-limb muscle activation-related (implicit) and gait-related (explicit) measures (offering complementary information on one's gait) while walking. Added to hemiplegia, such asymmetry can be aggravated while walking under varying task conditions, namely, walking without speaking (single task), walking while counting backwards (dual task), and walking while holding an object and counting backwards (multiple task). This emphasizes the need to quantify the extent of aggravated implication of multiple-task and dual-task on gait asymmetry compared to single task.

Rough set is a very powerful invention to the whole world for dealing with uncertain, incomplete and imprecise problems. Also soft set theory and neutrosophic set theory are advance mathematical tools to handle these uncertain, incomplete, inconsistent information in a better way. The purpose of this article is to expand the scope of rough set, soft set and neutrosophic set theory.

The outbreak of respiratory disease, COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2 has now been spread globally and the number of new infections is rising every moment. There are no specific medications that are currently available to combat the disease. The spike receptor of SARS-CoV-2 facilitates the viral entry into a host cell and initiation of infection.

Observing the spread, illness and death caused by COVID-19, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic. To date, there is no approved therapeutics or effective treatment available to combat the outbreak.

Timely identification of etiological agents of enteric infections is necessary to reduce the burden of infantile diarrheal mortality. Nucleic acid amplification-based detection methods offer a quick, reliable way for diagnosis of microbes in clinical specimens. This study was undertaken to evaluate an easy-to-use, cost-effective multiplex conventional reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay developed at the Indian Council of Medical Research-National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases virology laboratory to identify 4 common enteric viruses (rotavirus, norovirus, adenovirus, astrovirus) in stool samples from patients who were being evaluated for acute diarrhea.

Background: Group-A human rotaviruses (GARV) are among the major cause of childhood diarrhea worldwide. In lieu of monitoring the circulatory GARV strains and underscoring the burden of GARV related hospitalization, a systematic surveillance was conducted in three hospitals of eastern India. In this hospital-based diarrheal disease surveillance (2014-2016), GARV was the most common cause of acute infantile gastroenteritis.

Claims, justifying the acceptance and placement of new products on health system formularies, are all too often presented in terms that are either unverifiable or only verifiable in a timeframe that is of no practical benefit to formulary committees. One solution is for formulary committees to request that (i) all predictive claims made should be capable of empirical testing and (ii) manufacturers in making submissions should be asked to submit a protocol that details how their claims are to be assessed. Evaluation of claims can provide not only a significant input to ongoing disease area and therapeutic reviews, but can also provide a needed link to comparative effectiveness research and value-based healthcare.

A valence-universal multireference coupled cluster (VUMRCC) theory, realized via the eigenvalue independent partitioning (EIP) route, has been implemented with full inclusion of triples excitations for computing and analyzing the entire main and several satellite peaks in the ionization potential spectra of several molecules. The EIP-VUMRCC method, unlike the traditional VUMRCC theory, allows divergence-free homing-in to satellite roots which would otherwise have been plagued by intruders, and is thus numerically more robust to obtain more efficient and dependable computational schemes allowing more extensive use of the approach. The computed ionization potentials (IPs) as a result of truncation of the (N-1) electron basis manifold involving virtual functions such as 2h-p and 3h-2p by different energy thresholds varying from 5 to 15 a.

The objectives of the study were to monitor and assess the road traffic noise in its spatial-temporal aspect in an urban area. The paper discusses the observations, results and their interpretation based on the study. Noise recordings from site, collected from April 2006 to March 2006, were used for statistical analysis and generation of various noise indices.

Intense vehicular movement and industrial activities are the major noise producing sources in the Asansol city. Ambient night time noise levels were monitored in ten residential areas from August 2002 to July 2003, to study the existing quality of noise and their impact in the local community. Based on the monitored noise levels in the area, traffic-social survey was also conducted.
