The rapidly increasing growth in the world's population has created enormous environmental issues, such as the greenhouse effect, global warming, ozone layer depletion, acid rain, and excessive energy usage. The construction sector, in particular, accounts for a significant share of worldwide energy consumption, making it a major contributor to these challenges. Effective building insulation is crucial for decreasing energy demand, minimising heat loss, and lowering environmental impact.

Background: Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to activity, which affects a person's thoughts, behavior, motivation, feelings, and sense of wellbeing. Pharmacologic therapies are still the best effective treatment of depression. Still, most antidepressant drugs have low efficacy and delayed onset of therapeutic action, have different side effects, and even exacerbate depression.

Pathogen-induced infections and the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, such as () and (), pose significant global health challenges, emphasizing the need for new antimicrobial strategies. In this study, we synthesized graphene oxide (GO)-based composites functionalized with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) and copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) as potential alternatives to traditional antibiotics. The objective is to assess the antibacterial properties of these composites and explore their efficacy against and , two common bacterial pathogens.

Optimizing extraction conditions can help maximize the efficiency and yield of the extraction process while minimizing negative impacts on the environment and human health. For the purpose of the current study, an artificial neural network (ANN) combined with a genetic algorithm (GA) was utilized for that the extraction conditions of Hypericum spectabile were optimized. In this particular investigation, the main objective was to get the highest possible levels of total antioxidant status (TAS) for the extracts that were obtained.

Anaplasmosis, a tick-borne disease with worldwide distribution, impacts ruminants, equines, carnivores, and humans. This study aimed to investigate in horses from Ardabil province and in small ruminants from East Azerbaijan province using the Nested Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method. Blood samples were taken from the jugular vein of 100 healthy horses in the Ardabil province and 156 healthy sheep and goats (116 sheep and 40 goats) in the East Azerbaijan province during the spring and summer seasons of 2016 in northwest Iran.

In this research article, the (1+1)- and (2+1)-dimensional Chiral nonlinear Schrödinger equations (CNLSEs) are studied, which play an important role in the development of quantum mechanics, particularly in the field of quantum Hall effect. Our primary goal is to obtain the analytical solutions utilizing novel methodology, particularly the modified extended tanh-function technique. We concentrate on the search to solitary wave solutions inside the (1+1)- and (2+1)-dimensional CNLSEs, which are relevant in domains such as optics, electro-magnetic wave propagation, plasma physics, optics and quantum mechanics.

The main objective of this study is to construct radially aligned PCL nanofibers reinforced with levan polymer and investigate their in vitro biological activities thoroughly. First Halomonas levan (HL) polysaccharide is hydrolyzed (hHL) and subjected to sulfation to attain Sulfated hydrolyzed Halomonas levan (ShHL)-based material indicating heparin mimetic properties. Then, optimization studies are carried out to produce coaxially generated radially aligned Poly(caprolactone) (PCL) -ShHL nanofibers via electrospinning.

, the causative agent of fire blight, causes significant economic losses for farmers worldwide by inflicting severe damage to the production and quality of plants in the Rosaceae family. Historically, fire blight control has primarily relied on the application of copper compounds and antibiotics, such as streptomycin. However, the emergence of antibiotic-resistant strains and growing environmental concerns have highlighted the need for alternative control methods.
