Being overweight is a major global health epidemic of the 20th and 21st centuries, which can affect the movement system function of older adult women. This study evaluated the effects of a breathing exercise based on motor development patterns on functional fitness and quality of life in overweight older adult women. A randomized controlled trial was conducted with 40 community-dwelling women aged 65-75.

Objective: In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we assessed the impact of functional exercise training on physical functioning parameters in older adults 60 years and older.
Method: Databases including PubMed, MEDLINE, CINAHL, SPORTDiscus, and Cochrane Library were systematically searched.
Results: Sixteen articles were included.

This study aimed to compare the effects of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Moderate-Intensity Continuous Training (MICT) on glycemic control, beta-cell function, and aerobic fitness in women with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). Thirty-six women with T2DM were assigned equally to HIIT, MICT, and control (CON) groups. Participants in the exercise cohorts underwent a 12-week training regimen (three sessions per week), while the CON group maintained an inactive lifestyle.
