Background: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the sleep quality among chronic urticaria patients using the Chronic Urticaria Quality-of-Life Questionnaire (CU-Q2oL), sleep quality assessment tools, and polysomnography and to investigate any relationships between the obtained results.
Methods: The study included 21 patients diagnosed with chronic spontaneous urticaria and 19 healthy controls. We recorded the patients' sleep quality data, including CU-Q oL, Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and polysomnography results.

Introduction: Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) which develops without a known stimulation is defined as the occurrence of spontaneous wheals, angioedema or both for longer than six weeks. Infections, autoimmunity, food intolerance and internal parasitic infections are supposed to be underlying causes of CSU. The aim of this study was to evaluate the intestinal parasites in children and adult patients diagnosed as CSU, to determine the frequency of parasites in chronic urticaria, and to compare these patients with healthy demographic control groups.

A retrospective study of primary tumors of the ribs (PTR) was conducted to review their clinical, radiological, and pathological features, as well as the early and long-term results of surgical management. Seventy-eight patients (48 male, 30 female, age range: 7-80 years) with PTR were treated in our clinic between January 1998 and July 2008. Forty-nine (63%) of the patients had benign lesions and 29 (37%) had malignant lesions.
