An emergency team was challenged with ethical issues while managing an unmarried adolescent girl who presented with an acute abdomen wherein a ruptured ectopic pregnancy was suspected. Consent remained at the center of this dilemma given the age of the patient and the nature of the issues. Herein, we deliberate upon the challenges faced by the treating team in accessing the reproductive history, obtaining consent for performing pregnancy tests and for therapeutic interventions.

It is rarely described on echocardiogram due to difficult visualization and lack of knowledge of its existence. Cystic hypersecretory carcinoma (CHC) of the breast is a rare variant of ductal carcinoma, characterized by variably sized cysts lined by micropapillary fronds to proliferative pseudostratified columnar epithelium. It includes a spectrum of morphological features ranging from clearly benign cystic hypersecretory hyperplasia (CHH), CHH with atypia to invasive CHC. Only 20 cases of invasive CHC have been reported to date.

Itraconazole, is the most commonly prescribed oral antifungal agent in India, and has a low minimum inhibitory concentration as compared to other oral antifungals, and in conjunction with the markedly high skin levels, the drug should have a predictably good clinical response which is not the consistent experience of clinicians. Probably the variation in pelletization parameters might affect the bioavailability of the drug and consequently affect the serum levels. The maximum bioavailability of conventional itraconazole is 55 percent, which is neither consistent nor predictable.

Materials And Methods: PubMed, CNKI, LILACS, Koreamed, WHO clinical trial registry, and medRxiv were searched since December 2019. Any observational or controlled study that tested the efficacy of any pharmacological intervention in COVID-19 patients either prospectively or retrospectively was included in the qualitative analysis.

Background: In March 2020, a healthcare professional from a renowned private hospital, in the textile city of Bhilwara, Rajasthan, reported clustering of cases of pneumonia amongst doctors and paramedical staff suspected to be due to COVID-19. The basis of suspicion was clinico-eco-epidemiologic-radiological findings as, by that time, about 20 COVID19 cases were reported from the state of Rajasthan including a big Italian group of tourists who travelled extensively in Rajasthan, including Udaipur city.
Objectives: The current study presents the field experience of the Central and the State Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) in the cluster containment at Bhilwara.

Intestinal tuberculosis has varied clinical presentations and often requires high index of suspicion for clinching the diagnosis. We report a case of an 18-year-old male who presented with abrupt onset of massive lower gastrointestinal bleeding and was diagnosed to have ileocecal tuberculosis. This case signifies the need to consider the possibility of intestinal tuberculosis as a cause of severe hematochezia among other etiologies to prevent mortality and morbidity.
