Introduction: Manually analysing the quality of large amounts of written feedback comments is time-consuming and demands extensive resources and human effort. Therefore, this study aimed to explore whether a state-of-the-art large language model (LLM) could be fine-tuned to identify the presence of four literature-derived feedback quality criteria ( and ) and the seven CanMEDS roles ( and ) in written feedback comments.

Methods: A set of 2,349 labelled feedback comments of five healthcare educational programs in Flanders (Belgium) (specialistic medicine, general practice, midwifery, speech therapy and occupational therapy) was split into 12,452 sentences to create two datasets for the machine learning analysis.

Background: Older adults with end-stage kidney disease experience a diminished ability to perform the activities of their daily life. For those living at home, the initiation of in-centre haemodialysis treatment (ICHD) carries a risk of cascading functional decline leading to early nursing home placement and mortality. Research on how older adults adapt to their newly impacted daily life is scarce.

The willingness and barriers to collaborate in the care of frail older adults: perspectives of primary care professionals.

Background: This study investigated the perspectives of primary care professionals, in particular general practitioners, registered nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, on inter-professional collaboration, the barriers and the facilitators they perceive in the care of the frail older population.

Methods: We conducted a qualitative study. In-depth interviews with healthcare professionals were performed, using open-ended questions about their perceptions on the care of frail older adults and inter-professional collaboration.

Introduction: This study examines whether there are differences in expressive vocabulary between participants with and without dyslexia in personal narratives in response to the Global TALES protocol.

Methods: 22 monolingual Dutch-speaking participants aged 11-16 with dyslexia and 22 age and gender-matched peers without dyslexia were assessed on measures of decoding, reading comprehension, and spelling of words, pseudowords, verbs, and sentences. The participants also produced personal narratives in response to the six prompts contained in the Global TALES protocol.

It consists of different intervention methods that aim to reduce the debilitating sequelae of the disease. Recently, the use of mirror therapy in the acute facial palsy and postsurgical rehabilitation contexts has shown promising results, suggesting its use as an adjunct to fNMR in treating patients with later stages of paralysis, such as the paretic, early, or chronic synkinetic.

General health and working conditions of Flemish primary care professionals.

Background: The Quintuple aim explicitly includes 'health and wellbeing of the care team' as requirement for the care of patients. Therefore, we examined working conditions, work engagement and health status of professionals active in primary care in Belgium (Flanders), and how these are interrelated.
