Docetaxel is a chemotherapeutic agent commonly used against breast cancer, nonsmall cell lung cancer, gastric, prostate, head and neck cancer. Docetaxel- or taxane-induced interstitial lung disease (ILD) remains a relatively rare reported adverse event. Although rare, this complication remains an important event to identify and it carries a high mortality.

Background: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) includes deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). We aimed to analyze the risk factors, clinical presentations, evaluation and management strategies as well as outcomes of adult pulmonary thromboembolism cases at a tertiary care center.
Methods: In a retrospective observational study, all consecutive adult pulmonary thromboembolism cases admitted from January 2019 to September 2020 at our center were enrolled in this study.

Background: Non-eruptive calcium nodules (CNs) are commonly seen in heavily calcified coronary artery disease. They are the most difficult subset for modification, and may result in stent damage, malapposition and under-expansion. There are only limited options available for non-eruptive CN modification.

Pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP) is a rare disease which involves the accumulation of insoluble lipoproteinaceous material in the alveoli leading to impaired gas exchange and even respiratory failure. Autoimmune PAP is the most common type and is characterized by the presence of anti-granulocyte-monocyte colony stimulating factor (anti GM-CSF) antibody. Whole lung lavage has been traditionally used as first-line management of PAP but there is a lack of clarity especially in the treatment of relapsing cases of PAP.

Inotrope therapy for patients with advanced heart failure awaiting a heart transplant or ventricular assist device has been reported to facilitate hospital discharge. We report the case of a 46-year-old man with advanced heart failure (Stage D), initially found unsuitable for a heart transplant due to high pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR) was placed on ambulatory Milrinone therapy leading to significant improvement in PVR. He underwent a successful orthotopic heart transplant.

Heart transplant is an established modality for the treatment of heart disease refractory to medical therapy. The last 50 years have seen the evolution of immune suppression therapy and standardization of protocols which have significantly improved outcomes following cardiac transplants. Donor availability is the main limiting factor and has restricted the number of heart transplants worldwide.

A 49-year-old male presented with class III exertional angina, 1 year after angioplasty of the left anterior descending artery (LAD) and right coronary artery. Coronary angiogram revealed 90% in-stent restenosis (ISR) in mid-LAD with angiographic impression of stent fracture. Optical coherence tomographic evaluation of mid-LAD ISR showed a distinct 3 mm long "eclipse sign" indicating embolized, broken guiding catheter tip as a cause of ISR, which was confirmed on reviewing 1-year-old angiographic images.

Background: Residual structural changes in the lung along with pulmonary impairment remain in a large number of patients of tuberculosis after microbiological cure. The aim of this study was to determine whether 12 weeks of a structured pulmonary rehabilitation program (PRP) administered along with antitubercular treatment improved the baseline measurement of pulmonary function, exercise capacity, and health-related quality of life (HRQOL).
Methods: A pilot study with single blind randomized control design was carried out in a tertiary care chest center.
