Objective: This project demonstrates the feasibility of connecting medical imaging data and features, SARS-CoV-2 genome variants, with clinical data in the National Clinical Cohort Collaborative (N3C) repository to accelerate integrative research on detection, diagnosis, and treatment of COVID-19-related morbidities. The N3C curated a rich collection of aggregated and de-identified electronic health records (EHR) data of over 18 million patients, including 7.5 million COVID-positive patients, seen at hospitals across the United States.

Objective: Improve the quality and diversity of candidates invited for the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency match by reducing geographical and inter-rater bias with a novel geographic distribution algorithm.
Methods: Interview applicants were divided into geographic regions and assigned to reviewers. Each reviewer selected by force-ranking a pre-determined number of applicants to invite for interviews based on the percentage of applications received for each region.
Objective: The goal of this study was to determine the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 infections in pediatric front-line health care workers (HCWs) using SARS-CoV-2 serum antibodies as an indicator of infection.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we collected blood samples and survey responses from HCWs in a 38-bed pediatric emergency department. Serum antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 (IgM and/or IgG) were measured using a 2-step enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect antibodies against the Spike protein receptor binding domain (RBD), the ectodomain of Spike (S), and the nucleoprotein (N).
