Objectives: This study aims to assess and evaluate the clinical competence and its related factors among emergency nurses in Palestinian hospitals.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 170 nurses working in the emergency units of hospitals in the West Bank, Palestine.

This study aimed to assess the prevalence, predictors, and consequences of secondary traumatic stress among emergency nurses in Palestine during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: The study utilized a cross-sectional design and recruited a total of 189 emergency nurses from multiple healthcare centers in Palestine.

Background: Violence against nurses within healthcare setting is a serious issue of concern within the global healthcare sector. A considerably large percentage of nurses, 30%, in particular, have experienced or witnessed cases of violence in the workplace.
Objective: To conduct a scoping review on the factors influencing violence against nurses in emergency departments.
Sepsis is a widespread problem that can create clinical and economic difficulties. This study aimed to determine the knowledge, attitudes, practices, and barriers related to the sepsis and sepsis management among emergency nurses and physicians. Data was collected using a self-questionnaire completed by the participating nurses and physicians (n = 243), with a 61% response rate.

Background: () is a very popular edible and medicinal plant in the East Mediterranean countries. The aims of the current study were to use microwave-ultrasonic assisted hydrodistillation (MUAHD) method to produce essential oils (EOs) from wild samples collected from four different geographical areas in The West Bank using water as a solvent, determine the phytochemical profile using GC-MS analysis and assess their antioxidant and antibacterial potential.
Methods: Essential oils were produced using MUAHD method.

Objectives: This study assessed dentists' intention in eight Arab countries to report suspected exposure to violence among patients and factors associated with this intention based on the theory of planned behaviour.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in 2016 including a convenience sample of dentists practising in public, private and academic sectors in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Respondents answered a self-administered questionnaire collecting information about personal and professional background and perceived ability to identify victims of violence.

Background: Recently, there has been an increased interest in the effects of essential oils on athletic performances and other physiological effects. This study aimed to assess the effects of flower and leaves essential oils inhalation in two different groups of athlete male students on their exercise performance and lung function.
Methods: Twenty physical education students volunteered to participate in the study.
