In the current era, a chemical, industrial, or production process may not be devoid of heat transfer processes through fluids. This is seen in evaporators, distillation units, dryers, reactors, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and others. On the other hand, the micropolar model effectively simulates microstructured fluids like animal blood, polymeric suspensions, and crystal fluid, paving the way for new potential applications based mainly on complex fluids.

Background: Hyperlipidemia, a cardiovascular disease risk factor, is characterized by a rise in low-density lipoprotein (LDL), triglycerides and total cholesterol, and a decrease in high-density lipoprotein (HDL). Cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) enables the transfer of cholesteryl ester from HDL to LDL and very low-density lipoprotein.
Objectives: CETP inhibition is a promising approach to prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases.

An effective internal auditor can support an organization in achieving its goals and protect its assets and funds. However, to be effective, the internal auditors need to be empowered with relevant resources. This study aims at probing the influence of the empowerments (management support, external auditors' collaboration, independence, size of internal audit units, and extrinsic rewards) on the internal auditors' effectiveness, and to examin whether extrinsic rewards moderate the association between respective empowerments and the effectiveness of Jordanian public sector internal auditors'.

Gene Selection (GS) is a strategy method targeted at reducing redundancy, limited expressiveness, and low informativeness in gene expression datasets obtained by DNA Microarray technology. These datasets contain a plethora of diverse and high-dimensional samples and genes, with a significant discrepancy in the number of samples and genes present. The complexities of GS are especially noticeable in the context of microarray expression data analysis, owing to the inherent data imbalance.

Objective: The aim of this randomized controlled clinical trial was to determine the effect of the omega-3 fatty acid supplementations 300 mg per day for 8 weeks on the serum levels of ACE/ACE2 ratio in Jordanian participants with vitamin D deficiency (VDD).
Methods: The physical and clinical characteristic of individuals in both intervention and control randomized controlled clinical trial were measured and analyzed. The comparisons between the two groups and the changes in each group before and after taking omega-3 doses were studied through independent t test and paired t test, respectively.

Ataxia management is mainly based on rehabilitation, symptomatic management, and functional improvement. Therefore, it is important to comprehensively assess ataxic symptoms and their impact on function. Recently, the movement disorders society recommended four generic ataxia rating scales: scale for assessment and rating of ataxia (SARA), international cooperative ataxia rating scales, Friedreich's ataxia rating scale (FARS), and unified multiple system atrophy rating scale (UMSARS).

Freezing of gait (FoG) is one of the most widely distributed and disabling gait phenomena in people with Parkinson's disease (PD). The current therapeutic interventions show suboptimal efficacy in FoG. Lower extremity proprioception impairments, especially in the most affected leg, gait initiation hesitation, and gait asymmetry are FoG factors, and there is a need to accurately consider them in terms of therapeutic approaches.
