Purpose: There is a lack of evidence for treatment of some conditions including complication management, suboptimal initial weight loss, recurrent weight gain, or worsening of a significant obesity complication after one anastomosis gastric bypass (OAGB). This study was designed to respond to the existing lack of agreement and to provide a valuable resource for clinicians by employing an expert-modified Delphi consensus method.

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of liraglutide in adolescents with obesity.

Materials And Methods: Patients ( = 41) received injection liraglutide for at least 12 weeks and their pre-baseline and post-baseline characteristics were recorded and analysed. The key parameters analysed were weight, height, body mass index (BMI), fasting insulin and sugar, 1 h insulin and glucose, 2 h insulin and glucose, HbA1c, cholesterol, triglycerides, serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase, thyroid stimulating hormone and bone.

We report an unusual morphological mucoid variant of Staphylococcus haemolyticus associated with linezolid resistance from a patient with sepsis. Linezolid resistance and mucoid character together made this pathogen difficult to treat. To our knowledge this is the first such report.

Osteoporosis is characterized by low bone mass with micro architectural deterioration of bone tissue leading to enhance bone fragility, thus increasing the susceptibility to fracture. Although exact numbers are not available, based on available data and clinical experience, on estimated 25 million Indians may be affected. Osteoporotic fractures in India occur commonly in both sexes, and may occur at a younger age than in the West.
