Background: Capability beliefs and the intention to adopt EBP in future nursing practice have been identified as strong antecedents of subsequent utilization of EBP. • * Identified barriers to EBP adoption included limitations in authority to change patient care policies, slow evidence publication, and lack of time for implementation in clinical settings, suggesting both academic and hospital support are crucial for enhancing EBP competence in nursing students.
