Risk factors of poor nutrition in non-small cell lung cancer patients after chemotherapy: cross-sectional study.

This cross-sectional study aimed to analyze the associated factors of poor nutrition in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients after chemotherapy. Concretely, 176 NSCLC patients who attended our hospital from June 2020 to December 2022 were enrolled. Standard-compliant patients were categorized into nutrition group ( = 38) and malnutrition group ( = 70) according to different nutrition statuses.

[Relationship between the Age of Diagnosis and Clinical Outcomes in Children with Chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia].

Objective: To explore the relationship between age at diagnosis and clinical outcomes in children with chronic immune thrombocytopenia (cITP).

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 117 children with cITP, according to the age at which the patient was diagnosed with ITP, they were divided into two groups: the<10 year old group and the ≥10 year old group, the general information and clinical outcomes of the two groups of children were compared and analyzed. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyzed the impact of age at the time of diagnosis on clinical outcomes, and the predictive evaluation value of age on outcomes was assessed by the receiver operation characteristic.

[Surgical approaches for intertrochanteric fractures in elder patients].

Objective: To conduct long-term follow-ups on the efficacies of surgical approaches for intertrochanteric fractures in elder patients.

Methods: The outcomes of intertrochanteric fractures in 402 elder patients undergoing different surgical procedures during 2005 to 2009 were reviewed. The modified classification of Singh index, detailed surgical contraindications and improved functional scoring system specialized for intertrochanteric fracture were included.
