Introduction: Differentiated vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (dVIN) is a high-risk preinvasive vulvar lesion and precursor of human papillomavirus-independent vulvar squamous cell carcinoma (VSCC). Due to its rarity, literature data on its malignant potential are scant. The aim of the study is to assess the risk of developing VSCC in patients surgically treated for dVIN not associated with VSCC (solitary dVIN) and the risk of VSCC recurrence in patients treated for dVIN associated with VSCC (dVIN-VSCC) at first diagnosis.

Ultrasound-Assisted, Catheter-Directed Thrombolysis for Acute Intermediate/High-Risk Pulmonary Embolism: Design of the Multicenter USAT IH-PE Registry and Preliminary Results.

Background: The availability of an appropriate newborn feeding policy is an essential component of the promotion of breastfeeding in health facilities. The Italian Society of Neonatology (SIN) and the Italian Society of Paediatrics (SIP) have run an online survey among Maternity Hospitals to explore the existing breastfeeding policies and their characteristics.

Methods: Between February and April 2023, an online survey was carried out among 110 Italian maternity hospitals with a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Objectives: Timely diagnosis of lung cancer (LC) is crucial to achieve optimal patient care and outcome. Transoral percutaneous radiofrequency ablation with a steerable needle and cementoplasty under CBCT and infrared augmented reality navigation system guidance for the treatment of a C1 solitary plasmacytoma: A case report.

We report a case of a 40-year-old female with a solitary plasmacytoma of the right transverse apophysis of C1 who underwent combined transoral ablation using a curved steerable needle and cementoplasty under CBCT and infra-red augmented reality navigation system. An imaging work-up revealed an osteolytic lesion determining partial collapse of the right lateral mass of C1 and involving the vertebral foramen. After a biopsy, that revealed a solid tissue consistent with plasmacytoma, it was decided to proceed with radiation therapy.

Introduction: Freezing of gait (FOG) is one of the most debilitating motor symptoms experienced by patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). FOG detection is possible using acceleration data from wearable sensors, and a convolutional neural network (CNN) is often used to determine the presence of FOG epochs. We compared the performance of a standard CNN for the detection of FOG with two more complex networks, which are well suited for time series data, the MiniRocket and the InceptionTime.

This minimally invasive procedure uses controlled thermoablation for reducing the intervertebral disc and decompressing the lumbar nerve root. Material and Methods: Our study is a prospective analysis of 27 patients aged from 30 to 64 years with lumbar disc protrusion who were treated with percutaneous radiofrequency disc decompression (PRFD) between May 2018 and May 2019.
