Purpose: To assess the levels of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) in patients with pseudoexfoliation syndrome (PEX) and to compare the NLR and PLR results of patients with PEX, PEX glaucoma (PXG), and healthy controls.
Methods: In total, 34 patients with PEX, 29 patients with PXG, and 42 healthy subjects were enrolled in this retrospective study. Complete ophthalmologic examination and complete blood count measurements were performed of all subjects.

We aimed to investigate whether the number of oocytes retrieved during ovum pick-up has any effect on pregnancy outcomes when using the gonadotropin-releasing hormone or GnRH long agonist or antagonist protocols. A retrospective study was conducted between 2012 and 2014. The patients were grouped according to the number of oocytes retrieved at ovum pick-up; < 10 oocytes (Group 1), 10-14 oocytes (Group 2) and ≥ 15 oocytes (Group 3).

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of metoclopramide on endometrial receptivity with an immunohistochemical investigation of integrin β3 expression in pregnant rats.
Materials And Methods: In the present study, the pregnant mice administrated by different doses of metoclopramide were used to explore the effect of metoclopramide on embryo implantation, especially on the endometrial receptivity.
Results: The statistical results showed that the number of implanted embryos was gradually declining along the increasing dose of metoclopramide.

Objective: To compare the effectiveness of a flexible multidose gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist against the effectiveness of a microdose flare-up GnRH agonist combined with a flexible multidose GnRH antagonist protocol in poor responders to in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Study Design: A retrospective study in Akdeniz University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, IVF Center, for 131 poor responders in the intracytoplasmic sperm injection-embryo transfer (ICSI-ET) program between January 2006 and November 2012. The groups were compared to the patients' characteristics, controlled ovarian stimulation (COH) results, and laboratory results.

Background: Although many options exist for surgical treatment of pilonidal sinus disease (PSD), consensus has not yet been achieved, as all surgical methods have various rates of complications, postoperative infection, and recurrence.
Methods: This study was a prospective, randomized, clinical trial, and was conducted with consecutive 100 patients admitted to Ankara Military Hospital General Surgery Service for treatment of PSD from May 2013 to August 2013. This study compared two surgical treatments for PSD: modified Limberg flap transposition and lateral advancement flap transposition with Burow's triangle.

Objectives: It has been reported that the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) can be measured relatively easily and can serve as a valuable index for much clinical pathology. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between NLR and hepatic histological findings in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
Design And Methods: A total of 226 consecutive patients with biopsy-proven NAFLD [nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH, n=105), borderline-NASH (n=74), and simple steatosis (n=47)] were enrolled.

Objective: Primary aim is to compare the diagnostic value of contrast-enhanced 3D GRE T1-weighted sequences with unenhanced MR venography and conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), in detection of dural venous sinus (DVS) and cortical venous thrombosis; secondary aim is to determine the relationship between DVS thrombosis/site and gender, age, infarction or hemorrhage.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed conventional MR images, unenhanced MR venography and immediate post-contrast 3D GRE T1-weighted MR images in 30 patients (17 male and 13 female, 21-70 years old, mean age 40.1) with clinically suspected DVS thrombosis.
