Introduction: Acne vulgaris is a prevalent skin disorder influenced by a variety of factors, including a high body mass index (BMI) and obesity.

Aim: To investigate the association between BMI -scores and acne severity in boys and girls aged 10-18 years.

Material And Methods: A 72-patient prospective analysis was performed, in which patient weight, height, body mass index (BMI), body mass index score (BMI -score), percentiles, and demographic information were collected, and acne severity was categorized as mild or moderate/severe.

Efficacy and Safety of Trastuzumab Emtansine in Her2 Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer: Real-World Experience.

Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) in cases with metastatic breast cancer (mBC) in different lines of treatment.

Method: Retrospective analysis of T-DM1 results of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (Her2) positive 414 cases with mBC from 31 centers in Turkey.

Is 25(OH)D Associated with Cognitive Impairment and Functional Improvement in Stroke? A Retrospective Clinical Study.

Background: In recent years, vitamin D deficiency has been suggested as a risk factor for ischemic stroke and stroke severity in both animal models and clinical studies. In this retrospective study, we investigated the relationship between 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] levels and functional outcomes in stroke patients during neurological rehabilitation program. We also investigated whether there is an association between 25(OH)D levels and cognitive impairment.

Tuberculosis of the breast: medical treatment.

Primary mucinous eccrine adenocarcinoma of the skin in a 69-year-old man.

The authors report a rare case of primary mucinous eccrine adenocarcinoma of the skin initially diagnosed as metastatic adenocarcinoma and treated with local excision and adjuvant radiotherapy in another center. The tumor reoccurred in the left axilla 2.5 years later after the initial treatment.

Leptin levels in thyroid cancer.

Factors affecting seroma formation after mastectomy with full axillary dissection.

Background And Objectives: Seroma formation is the most common complication after breast cancer surgery, especially when axillary dissection is performed. This clinical research was undertaken to identify factors that predict the development of seroma after modified radical mastectomy for breast cancer.

Objectives: In this study, we prospectively compared the use of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS), and fecal elastase 1 in patients with chronic pancreatitis and searched for correlation with symptoms, clinical findings, and elastase 1 levels.

Methods: Twenty-four consecutive patients (19 were male, and 5 were female) with chronic pancreatitis who had already undergone ERCP within the last 2 years and 19 healthy control subjects (10 were male, and 9 were female) are studied prospectively. Primary lumbar epidermoid tumor mimicking schwannoma.

A case of a primary lumbar epidermoid tumor is described. Intraspinal epidermoid tumors are rare. The differential diagnosis on this case was a nerve sheath tumor, such as aschwannoma, as the tumor entered the dural sac and caused dural ectasia.
