Methods And Results: Participants of the DAS-CAM III initiated and distributed an online survey assessing physician preferences in using digital devices for the management of AF in different clinical scenarios.

Background: Botulinum toxin (BoNT) injections are used to reduce spasticity, and sometimes repeated injections are required. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the number of BoNT injections into the gastrocnemius muscle on function, muscle morphology, muscle stiffness, and muscle vascularization in children with cerebral palsy (CP).

Methods: The study included 22 children with spastic-type CP aged five to 13 years who had previously received one, two, or three BoNT injections into the gastrocnemius muscle.

Background: The Internet has transformed global information access, particularly through platforms like YouTube, which launched in 1995 and has since become the second largest search engine worldwide with over two billion monthly users. While YouTube offers extensive educational content, including health topics like cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic life support (BLS), it also poses risks due to potential misinformation. Our study focuses on evaluating the accuracy of CPR and BLS videos on YouTube according to the latest 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

Prolonged atrial refractoriness to predict the onset of atrial fibrillation after transcatheter aortic valve implantation.

Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common atrial arrhythmia after transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and is associated with high mortality. Although some clinical and echocardiographic variables have been defined to predict new-onset atrial fibrillation (NOAF), electrophysiologic (EP) parameters have not been identified yet. We aimed to investigate the impact of atrial refractoriness on NOAF after TAVI.

This study examined the relationship between physical activity (PA) level, free time management, mental well-being, and perceptions of barriers to PA among university students. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 723 Turkish university students, which included four questionnaires to assess participants' PA levels, conditions of mental well-being, free time management, and perceived barriers to PA. Multivariate linear regression was performed to identify factors associated with the participants' PA level.

Methods: The participants were administered the Personal Information Form and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale in the 6th week of the postpartum period. While the number of Turkish mothers participating in the study was 66, the number of Syrian mothers was 71.

Background: Inherited kidney diseases (IKD) and congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT) are causes of kidney failure requiring kidney replacement therapy (KRT) that major renal registries usually amalgamate into the primary renal disease (PRD) category 'miscellaneous' or in the glomerulonephritis or pyelonephritis categories. This makes IKDs invisible (except for polycystic kidney disease) and may negatively influence the use of genetic testing, which may identify a cause for IKDs and some CAKUT.

Methods: We have re-examined the etiology of KRT by composing a separate IKD and CAKUT PRD group using data from the European Renal Association (ERA) Registry.
