Methods: This cross-sectional study included 570 participants aged 65 and older, all outpatients at a geriatric clinic.

Methods: A retrospective cohort study at two hospitals in Türkiye included 51 NIU patients (29 children, 22 adults) who escalated from bi-weekly to weekly ADA due to inadequate disease control. Data on six clinical parameters (anterior chamber reaction, vitreous haze, visual acuity, central macular thickness [CMT], prednisone use, uveitis flare-up frequency), adverse effects, and treatment-related factors were collected.

Background: Hypertension-mediated organ damage (HMOD) is a critical complication of hypertension that can present with cardiac, retinal, and renal manifestations and affect patient outcomes. Serum signal peptide, CUB (complement C1r/C1s, Uegf, and Bmp1) domain, and epidermal growth factor-like domain-containing protein 1 (SCUBE-1), a novel biomarker implicated in vascular pathology, shows promise for detecting HMOD. Characterizing the pan-cancer role of exosomal miRNAs in metastasis across cancers.

Exosomal microRNAs (exomiRs) play a critical role in intercellular communication, especially in cancer, where they regulate key cellular processes like proliferation, angiogenesis, and metastasis, highlighting their significance as potential diagnostic and therapeutic targets. Here, we aimed to characterize the role of exomiRs, derived from seven cancer types (four cell lines and three tumors), in influencing the pre-metastatic niche (PMN). In each cancer type we extracted high confidence exomiRs (LogFC >= 2 in exosomes relative to control), their experimentally validated targets, and the enriched pathways among those targets.

The effect of nutrition education intervention for caregivers on the nutrition status of the elderly receiving home care: A 1-year follow-up interventional trial.

Background: The high prevalence of malnutrition among those of older age and the lack of nutrition knowledge among the elderly and their caregivers underscore the need for a nutrition education intervention (NEI) for caregivers.

Materials And Methods: Patients enrolled in the "home care program" who were dependent, were >65 years of age, and had caregivers (n = 94) were included in the study. A nutritionist conducted initial NEI sessions for caregivers and subsequently monitored them monthly at home for 12 months.

Background: This project aimed to develop an evidence-based nursing care bundle after gastrostomy feeding tube insertion and implement it into clinical practice using the Knowledge to Action (KTA) framework.

Methods: This mixed-method design project was conducted in a university hospital between December 2021 and June 2022.
