This retrospective case study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of collagen matrix (DuraGen) in preventing subcutaneous emphysema, a common complication following dorsal rhinotomy. Six client-owned dogs diagnosed with nasal masses using computed tomography were included in this study. Dorsal rhinotomy was performed, and a collagen matrix was used to seal bone defects before fixation of the nasal bone flap.

We evaluated the efficacy of oral sildenafil citrate in dogs with congenital idiopathic megaoesophagus (CIM). Twenty-one puppies were randomly assigned to two groups (treatment and control). The dogs were given sildenafil oral suspension 1 mg/kg every 12 hours for 14 days or placebo in a masked fashion.
