In this paper, we focus on a dynamic Cournot game in the market with a nonlinear (isoelastic) demand function. In our model, there are N competing firms featured by nonlinear cost functions, which enhances our model's resemblance to real-world scenarios. Firstly, we focus on the homogeneous case where firms' marginal costs change at equal rates.

Collaborative Innovation Center for Ecological Economics and Management, Anhui University of Finance and Economics, Bengbu, 233030, PR China; Adnan Kassar School of Business, Lebanese American University, 1102-2801, Beirut, Lebanon. Electronic address:

China proposed establishing a carbon emission trading market in its 12th Five-Year Plan to reduce carbon dioxide emissions through market mechanisms, promote the development of science and technology and help China become an environment-friendly country. To examine the impact of carbon emission trading on green technology innovation in Chinese energy enterprises, data from 1993 to 2020 were collected from 494 A-share-listed energy enterprises. Enterprises located in the pilot area of carbon emissions trading were assigned to the treatment group, while those in the non-pilot area were assigned to the control group.

The logistics industry plays a crucial role in facilitating regional economic development. Serving as a vital link connecting producers, consumers, and various components of the supply chain, it has a direct and profound impact on the prosperity and advancement of regional economies. Based on the panel data of 11 provinces in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2016 to 2020, this paper constructs the logistics capability evaluation index system from four aspects: regional economic base, logistics infrastructure, logistics development scale, information technology and talent support, and uses the entropy weight TOPSIS method to measure the logistics capability of each province.

The dynamic subsidence disaster caused by underground mining of coal resources is a complex spatiotemporal process, which is a common disaster in mining areas. The backfilling strip mining technology is a green and sustainable coal mining method, which has been commonly used to reduce the subsidence disaster of the overlying strata and protect surface buildings. The transient deformation is the main reason of surface buildings damage; therefore, in this study, the similar material model was used to research dynamic deformation characteristics of the overlying strata in backfilling strip mining at different time scales, and the optical image method was employed to monitor and obtain the movement data of the overlying strata automatically.

Background: Though deep learning has consistently demonstrated advantages in the automatic interpretation of breast ultrasound images, its black-box nature hinders potential interactions with radiologists, posing obstacles for clinical deployment.

Methods: We proposed a domain knowledge-based interpretable deep learning system for improving breast cancer risk prediction via paired multimodal ultrasound images. The deep learning system was developed on 4320 multimodal breast ultrasound images of 1440 biopsy-confirmed lesions from 1348 prospectively enrolled patients across two hospitals between August 2019 and December 2022.

Controlling active transport of water through membrane channels is essential for advanced nanofluidic devices. Despite advancements in water nanopump design using techniques like short-range invasion and subnanometer-level control, challenges remain facilely and remotely realizing massive waters active transport. Herein, using molecular dynamic simulations, we propose an ultrahigh-flux nanopump, powered by frequency-specific terahertz stimulation, capable of unidirectionally transporting massive water through asymmetric-wettability membrane channels at room temperature without any external pressure.
