Not all the neonates respond with improvement in oxygenation following inhaled nitric oxide treatment (iNO) treatment. The aim of this study was to assess the independent risk factors associated with non-response to iNO during the 2 weeks of postnatal treatment in neonates diagnosed with persistent pulmonary hypertension (PPHN). This retrospective cohort study included all newborns with PPHN who received iNO treatment for more than 24 h.
