Background: Previous researches have clarified that miR-155 is increased in methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) pneumonia, and modulates Th9 differentiation. Like Th9 cells, Th17 cells were also a subset of CD4 T cells and involved in MRSA pneumonia progression. This work aimed to investigate the role and mechanism of miR-155 in Th17 differentiation.

We conducted a cross-sectional analysis of the Suzhou Food Consumption and Health Survey in China between 2018 and 2020.

[Research progress in the treatment of distal humeral metaphyseal-diaphyseal junction fracture in children].

Objective: To summarize the research progress in the treatment of distal humeral metaphyseal-diaphyseal junction (DHMDJ) fractures in children and to provide reference for clinical practice.

Methods: The characteristics and treatment methods of transverse and comminuted DHMDJ fractures in children were summarized and analyzed by referring to relevant literature at home and abroad.

Results: DHMDJ fractures in children are not uncommon clinically, with high fracture line position, multi-directional instability, difficult closed reduction in treatment, and easy to cause complications such as coronal and sagittal deformity of the elbow.

Ewing sarcoma of the pancreas: a pediatric case report and narrative literature review.

Ewing's Sarcoma (ES) is an rare, small round-cell sarcoma that predominantly occurs in children and young adults, with both skeletal and extraskeletal manifestations. However, pancreatic ES, due to its rarity, is infrequently featured in scholarly literature, with only a scant 43 reported instances. Our study describes a case of pancreatic ES in an 8-year-old boy who was found to have an abdominal mass.

Purpose: Male cancer survivors experience confusion about fertility following cancer treatment. The aims of this study were to evaluate survivors' semen quality in different tumor type groups in China and to analyze the current situation and challenges of male cancer patients with sperm cryopreservation.

Methods: This was a multicenter retrospective study of male patients with cancer who underwent sperm cryopreservation in 16 regions of the national sperm banks over an 11-year period from 2010 to 2020.

Background: Recently, there have been some reports of seizures related with COVID-19 vaccinations. However, no studies have systematically investigated the relationship between seizures and various COVID-19 vaccines.

Research Design And Methods: This research aimed to analyze the characteristics and risk signals of new-onset seizures in children caused by various COVID-19 vaccines based on the data of the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

Background: Inhibitory control represents a core executive function that critically facilitates adaptive behavior and survival in an ever-changing environment. Non-invasive transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) has been hypothesized to improve behavioral inhibition performance, however the neurocomputational mechanism of taVNS-induced neuroenhancement remains elusive.

Method: In the current study, we investigated the efficacy of taVNS in a sham-controlled between-subject functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) experiment with an emotional face Go/No-Go paradigm in ninety healthy young adults.
