In this study, a series of new methoxy ester functionalized core fluorinated, chloro-fluorinated azobenzene derivatives were synthesized. The molecular structures of the azobenzene derivatives (3a-3c and 4a-4c) were confirmed through various analytical methods, with variations in the alkoxy chain length on one end of the aromatic ring. Optical absorption studies of 3a, 3b revealed π-π* transitions around 368-392 nm.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB/Mtb) is the causative agent of tuberculosis (TB), a highly infectious serious airborne illness. TB usually affects the lungs, in 25 % of patients (children or immune impaired adults), mycobacteria can enter the blood stream and infect other bodily areas such the meninges, pleura, lymphatic system, genitourinary system, bones, and joints. Currently, the most challenging aspect of treating this illness is the ineffectiveness of the most potent first-line anti-TB medications, isoniazid, rifampin, pyrazinamide, and ethambutol, which can result in multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB), extensively drug-resistant TB (XDR-TB), and in rare instances, completely drug-resistant TB (TDR-TB).

We have successfully prepared the titanium dioxide (TiO) nanoparticles (NPs) and sulfur-incorporated graphitic carbon nitride (S-GCN)-modified carbon paste electrode (CPE). The CPEs modified with TiO NPs and S-GCN were employed for detecting and quantifying the skeletal muscle relaxant cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride (CBP) using cyclic voltammetry and square wave voltammetry (SWV) techniques. Optimal electrochemical conditions were indicated by the pH study results, with the highest peak current observed at a physiological pH of 7.

In our work, a novel series of europium (III) (Eu) (5, 10 and 15 wt %) doped cobalt tetroxide@cupric oxide (CoO@CuO) nanomaterials (NMs) were synthesized by facile coprecipitation method. The synthesized NMs were characterized by XRD (X-ray diffraction), FT-IR (Fourier transform infrared), UV (ultraviolet)-visible absorption spectra, XPS (X-ray photoelectron), BET (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller) analytical methods. Crystal structure studies revealed the formation of polycrystalline nature with monoclinic and cubic phase.

A novel metal-organic framework [MOFs], and 2-[benzo []thiazol-2-ylthio)-3-hydroxy acrylaldehyde-Cu-benzene dicarboxylic acid was synthesized by solvothermal method and characterized using -XRD, FSEM-EDX, TGA, BET, FTIR. The tethered organic linker, 2-[benzo []thiazol-2-ylthio)-3-hydroxyacrylaldehyde was commonly known as 2-mercaptobenimidazole analogue [2-MBIA]. Analysis of BET disclosed that addition of 2-MBIA to Cu-benzene dicarboxylic acid [Cu-BDC], reduced the crystallite size from 70.

High entropy alloys (HEA) are one of the modern-era alloys accelerating with greater velocity because of their excellent properties and different applications. In the present paper, we have successfully fabricated HEA (23Fe-21Cr-18Ni-20Ti-18Mn) powders by ball milling the elemental Fe, Cr, Ni, Ti, and Mn powders for 15 h. The advancement of the milling process and phase transformation of HEAs were studied by using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM).
