Recent advancements have focused on enhancing factor VIII half-life and refining its delivery methods, despite the well-established knowledge that factor VIII deficiency is the main clotting protein lacking in hemophilia. Consequently, both viral and non-viral delivery systems play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for hemophilia patients. The utilization of viral vectors and the manipulation of non-viral vectors through targeted delivery are significant advancements in the field of cellular and molecular therapies for hemophilia.

HER-2/neu (HER2) is a member of the epidermal growth factor receptors family, encoding a protein with tyrosine kinase activity. Following the gene amplification or increased HER2 transcription, carcinogenesis has been observed in some cancers. Genetic and epigenetic changes occurring in enhancer sequences can deeply affect the expression and transcriptional regulation of downstream genes, which can cause some physiological and pathological changes, including tumor progression.

Background And Objectives: With entering the "post-antibiotic era", antibiotic resistance is one of the most important problems in food security, health and medicine. Invention of nanoparticles with intrinsic antimicrobial activity has been provided a new tool to combat the problem, including some metal nanoparticles. But protein nanoparticles have been often used as nano-carrier for antibiotic drugs, not for their own antibiotic activity.

Neurodegenerative disorders are characterized by mitochondrial dysfunction and subsequently oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis that contribute to neuronal cytotoxicity and degeneration. Huntington's (HD), Alzheimer's (AD), and Parkinson's (PD) diseases are three of the major neurodegenerative diseases. To date, researchers have found various natural phytochemicals that could potentially be used to treat neurodegenerative diseases.

In this study, the protein and oleosomes of sesame seeds were extracted individually and used to prepare a gel composed of gelatin, protein, and oleosomes. Mixtures of gelatin and sesame seeds protein were prepared, and oleosomes with different percentages (0, 10, 20 and 30% of their weight) were used. Different amounts of oleosomes in the composite gel samples were examined for their morphological, rheological, and textural properties.

A novel, magnetic HKUST-1 MOF based on MgFeO-NH was designed and synthesized in two steps and applied effective removal of malachite green (MG), crystal violet (CV), and methylene blue (MB) from water samples. Characterization of the newly synthesized MgFeO-NH-HKUST-1 was performed by various techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Field emission scanning electron microscopy, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller, Thermal gravimetric analysis, and Vibration sampling magnetometry. Malachite green, crystal violet and methylene blue are toxic and mutagenic dyes that can be released into the water in different ways and cause many problems for human health and the environment.

Carbon materials play important roles as catalysts or catalyst supports for reduction reactions owing to their high porosity, large specific surface area, great electron conductivity, and excellent chemical stability. In this paper, a mesoporous N-doped carbon substrate (exhibited as N-C) has been synthesized by ionothermal carbonization of glucose in the presence of histidine. The N-C substrate was modified by FeO nanoparticles (N-C/FeO), and then Pd nanoparticles were stabilized on the magnetic substrate to synthesize an eco-friendly Pd catalyst with high efficiency, magnetic, reusability, recoverability, and great stability.
