The complex architecture of the papillary muscles (PMs) of the ventricles plays a crucial role in cardiac function and pathology. This comparative study aimed to examine the differences in PMs morphology between the right and left ventricles, focusing on their number, location, and shape. A total of 38 grossly normal hearts from donated bodies were dissected, and the number, location, and shape of PMs in both ventricles were observed.

Background and aim The deltoid is a common site for intramuscular injections, but guidelines for administration lack standardization. Global researchers propose various techniques, and recent study reports indicate a 1.5-15% incidence of nerve palsies due to injections.

Full-body PPE is favoured for its comprehensive protection against the virus but poses challenges to the body's thermoregulatory system as it inhibits air exchange. This randomised trial was undertaken to investigate the effects of wearing a commonly used gown-type full-body PPE kit in a simulated environment.

Medical institutions around the globe presently face a scarcity of cadaver supplies. For the majority of countries, unclaimed bodies are still the primary source of cadavers despite guidelines issued by the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists, which discourage the use of unclaimed bodies.

Neurofibroma of the scrotum is a very uncommon benign neoplasm, specifically when it affects teenagers and is not associated with neurofibromatosis type I. To the best of our knowledge, only a couple of cases of neurofibroma in children have been documented. Here, we report a case study of a 17-year-old boy who had a giant scrotal lump for ten years masquerading clinically as filariasis.

Classical Hodgkin lymphoma represents a paradigm of tumor cell-microenvironment interactions as the neoplastic Hodgkin Reed-Sternberg (HRS) cells typically constitute less than 1% of the total tumor volume. CTLA-4, a member of the CD28/B7 immunoglobulin superfamily, and CD28 and their ligands B7-1 and B7-2 are critically important for the initial activation of naive T cells. Strategies aimed at interfering with the crosstalk between tumoral Reed-Sternberg cells and their cellular partners have been taken into account in the development of new immunotherapies that target different cell components of the HL microenvironment.
