Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is a congenital anomaly involving the herniation of intra-abdominal contents into the thoracic cavity. Hepatopulmonary fusion (HPF), an exceedingly rare subtype mainly associated with right-sided CDH, presents unique diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. Objectives: To determine accuracy of transverse cerebellar diameter (TCD) measurement in the prediction of gestational age (GA) in normal fetuses; to develop reference chart for TCD according to GA in Indian population.
Design: A retrospective cross-sectional study.
Method: Ultrasonographic measurements in 300 singleton pregnant women included biparietal diameter (cm), head circumference (cm), abdominal circumference (cm), femur length (cm) and transverse cerebellar diameter (cm).

The survey was coordinated by the Indian Council of Medical Research-National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research with 10 reputed implementing research institutes/organisations across India in urban and rural areas.

The parents had noticed the absence of the right eyeball and a very small left eyeball and no vision in both eyes since birth but did not approach the healthcare system. The patient was diagnosed as a case of bilateral severe microphthalmos with colobomatous cyst with late presentation and was treated surgically.

We describe here an interesting case of a 7-day-old male infant brought with parental concerns of inability to extend both knees. Clinical evaluation revealed dysplastic fingernails, bilateral abnormal patellae, triangular lunules in conjunction with pathognomic iliac horns on pelvic radiographs suggesting the possibility of nail-patella syndrome (NPS). Other competing diagnoses with similar phenotypic features were considered and sequentially excluded.

Sarcomas of breast constitute less than 1% of all malignant breast tumours. Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is very rare in breast with limited case reports in literature, and primary alveolar RMS arising from breast is still less common than metastatic RMS. Here, we report a case of primary bilateral alveolar RMS of breast in an adolescent female where the correct diagnosis was obfuscated by an overlap in the histological features of RMS and high-grade invasive ductal carcinoma.

Complete globe extrusion, whether traumatic or spontaneous, is a rare clinical entity and if associated with optic nerve avulsion, it has a worse visual outcome, though repositioning of the globe may be attempted. We report a case of road traffic accident, wherein the patient presented with an extrusion of the globe, along with a complete transection of the optic nerve, about 4 cm from the optic nerve head, with only a residual attachment to the orbital rim via the unsevered lateral conjunctival flap, where the enucleation was completed and the conjunctiva was sutured.
