Mucopolysaccharidoses (MPSs) are a group of lysosomal storage disorder characterized by progressive multiorgan accumulation of glycosaminoglycans. Patients with MPS I (Hurler's syndrome) present as one of the most difficult airway problems to be managed by anesthesiologists. Hydrocephalus with increased intracranial pressure is a frequent complication seen in these patients.

Unlabelled: The purpose of this study was to review the principles involved in the management of proximal femoral fractures as reported in the literature.
Methods: A medical literature search in the MEDLINE (PubMed) and Cochrane database was undertaken to review strategies and principles in proximal femoral fracture treatment. Randomized control trials and meta analysis were given preference while case reports/small series were rejected.

Progressive HIV disease is characterized by CD4 T cell decline and activation of the immune system. We aimed to study the quantitative alterations in the naive (CD45RA+CD62L+), memory/effector (CD45RO+) and activated (HLA-DR+CD38+) T-lymphocyte subpopulations in antiretroviral treatment naive, HIV-1 infected Indian patients by three-color multi-parametric flow cytometry. The association of different CD4+ and CD8+ T cell subsets with the immunological markers- CD4+ and CD8+ T cell percentages was examined by calculating the partial correlation coefficients.

Background: As the number of AIDS cases increases in India, information available among clinicians about the prevalence of opportunistic infections (OIs) is scarce. The aim of the present study was to document the characteristic OIs of HIV-infected North Indian patients along with their CD4+ counts.
Patients And Methods: The study group consisted of subjects with confirmed serodiagnosis of HIV, attending the medical clinics at a tertiary health care center in North India.
