A child in middle childhood presented with six episodes of left-sided parotitis in the last 6 months. This was associated with erythematous circinate patches of the dorsal aspect of the tongue suggestive of geographic tongue. His growth was normal with no underlying nutritional deficiencies.

Background There is not much data regarding the effect of plasma glucose on thyroid hormones. Currently, there is no consensus regarding the timing of blood sample collection for thyroid hormones. Evaluation of the correlation between plasma glucose and thyroid hormones may enhance pathophysiological understanding of postprandial thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) decline.

This systematic review assesses how well different types of CR, such as high-intensity interval training (HIIT), moderate-intensity continuous training (MICT), Nordic walking (NW), and home-based cardiac rehabilitation (HBCR), improve exercise capacity, quality of life, and lower death and illness rates. The objective is to assess the effectiveness of cardiovascular rehabilitation programs in enhancing clinical outcomes for patients diagnosed with CAD.

Context: SARS-CoV-2 virus causes COVID-19 by infecting nasal and oral cavities primarily by attaching its spike proteins to ACE 2 receptors expressed in epithelial cells.
Aim: This study was done to evaluate the micronucleated cell count, metanuclear abnormalities, and genotoxic factor in exfoliated buccal mucosal cell among the COVID-19 suspected patients.
Settings And Design: This cross-sectional study was conducted at AIIMS, Mangalagiri, between August and October 2022.

This study was conducted to assess the environmental correlates of the outbreak using geo-mapping tools.
Methods: A post-outbreak survey was conducted among affected cases in January-February, 2021.

Aim To study the prevalence of programmed death-1 receptor (PD-1) and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) positive cases in non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) and their association with other clinicopathological parameters in a tertiary care setting in North India. Material and methods One hundred histologically proven NSCLC cases having sufficient tumor material from July 2016 to July 2018 were examined, and the prevalence of PD-1 and PD-L1 positivity in NSCLC was studied. In addition, H&E-stained sections were reviewed, and 100 consecutive cases meeting study criteria were identified as study cases.
